Bought a laptop for $100!

I have a quick little story for you that I thought was kind of interesting. My neighbor, who is definitely a pothead, came over telling us that she was looking to sell her laptop, a HP Pavillion that's relatively new, to anyone who is interested for $150. She gets disability and an annuity for an inheritance but she needed some money to blow on drugs (or whatever, I have no idea) so I offered up $100, thinking she wouldn't take it. BUT SHE DID!!!! And now I have this totally working laptop at my disposal that I can bring to work, sit in front of the TV and go on MyLot, or whatever with.. Very unexpected but awesome nonetheless. I feel a little bad for the girl who sold it to me, because she must have been desperate for cash (and I wonder if she regrets it, you know?)
Have you ever gotten an unexpected deal on something like this?

Not like that. But on two occasions, at two differant restaurants I got free breakfast because I went in there announcing that I had just found a job. The first one was when I got a much better paying job and most recent, finding one after being unempl;oyed for two years. Both restaunts I had visited on a frequent basis, but still, it was free and unexpected. I also got a universal remote on e-bay for one penny. the bidding started out at one penny and no one else put in another bid and like you, I felt bad. Shipping was two dollars and it was pretty small but still, it was brand new in the box.

That was your luck friend-it is good to have such disorganized fellows around your neighborhood so long as what they sell is not stolen stuff,because if it turns out she stole the laptop, both you the buyer will go to prison if you were in my country Uganda where the both the buyer of stolen property and the seller commit offense!

Nothing like that!
But I think you got a great deal there. I was just at Best Buy today looking at some netbooks. The cheapest I saw was over $300.
The closest unexpected deal I could think of is what happened to me last week. I went to watch a show. I'm kind of cheap so I bought the cheapest ticket, which was for a matinee. I came in early and sat at the back. I think nobody bought the expensive tickets, that a gentleman came to the section where we were sitting and offered to transfer us in the front 3 rows from the stage.
It was a good show, and even better seats!

Hmmm I can say your lucky to have such laptop for 100$. I haven't encounter such quick deal, I hope someday I can LOL.. By the way, do you have any thinking that you cheat her and after her situation you offer such amount.. what do you think? Sorry just asking.... don't mad on me my friend.. see you around

i think the time will come that she will regret what she did:) but its just okay because that person desperately need money to do something O_o?
as of now i never gotten unexpected deal on something:)

you are so fortunate... i never encountered such a bargain before especially from my neighbour... if i get a deal, it is usually from a person that i know really well and have a good relationship with... enjoy your new laptop and have fun with it... take care and have a nice day...

Woah, $100 for a relatively new laptop, you're lucky man! Hmm...I don't come across such unexpected deals so far. I hope I can get lucky someday LOL.

OOOPpps be careful of what you did laptop for $100 that's very suspicious to buy and you have to be careful and hide it because you are really in trouble if that laptop was stolen then you gonna be in big messed with the law. Buying stolen goods are really hot stuff.

Your story is interesting, but i have something similar . Two months ago my neighbor the performance should have money, so he decided sell his new I-phone per 50$. Now I have I-phone which is my best purchases to date :)
