I love to see all the things that they are putting on the tv that involve animal rescue. There are a great bunch of things like rspca rescue where they get all matters of pets that are trapped out and also tell you how animals have got better and even show you that they look alot better, mind you some are not happy endings.

I love to see all the happy endings, i hate the sad endings when it comes to pets.I think that it is a shame that you do not get the chance to see some of the things that you like.

Hiya joystick, Me too I like to watch those kind of programs where they rescue animals of all kinds. A lot of animals that are being dumped at the moment are the Iguanas this usually happens when they get to grow too big more than a metre usually and they get dumped anywhere. So a lot of rescue has been going on for these creatures as well and Snakes too. Glad to see them recovering and they are being given new Homes by People who really want them and can care for them.

I love those shows! Although they make me sad at times. I used to watch them several hours a day when I had cable. I'm very sad that I cannot get it on Hulu or also free TV services.

I do enjoy seeing an occasional ASPCA rescue story on tv BUT, I get very down and even alittle upset when I see these things and poor animals with the look in their eyes and all. And I just don't have the money to go and pick up each and every one I see and have the old farm house my daughter and I have dreamed of having for years. Room for all the animals.

I used to watch those, but these days it just depresses me to much. I love animals so much that i cant stand to see how crazy people are so unfeeling and treat them so inhumanely makes me ashamed to be human.

There was a time that I was absolutely addicted to watching Animal Cops on Animal Planet because I liked to see the way that the animal law enforcers worked. However, I then went through a depressive stage in my life and I found that it was quite difficult for me to watch it because of the sad endings that we sometimes saw. That said, I still think that the happy endings are great and I do still watch these programs from time to time, but not constantly anymore.

I am very involved in animal rescue, particularly small animal rescue. Mostly because so many people don't know that animals like rabbits, ferrets, birds, rodents, and reptiles end up in shelters just like dogs and cats! For example, my cousin is a big promoter of rescue and all her cats and dogs have been rescues. But when she went to get pet rabbits, she went to a pet store! She had no idea there are thousands of rabbits in shelters that need rescuing too! I'm currently fostering two rescue gerbils and two rescue rats that are looking for homes. So if you're looking to get any type of pet, you should definitely save a life and choose rescue! If you're in the US or Canada, you can browse for adoptable pets on Petfinder.com. And if you're in Australia, you can browse for adoptable pets on PetRescue.com.au. And if you're in the UK, you can browse for adoptable pets on Pet-rescue.org.uk.

i agree with you. i ever watch that a cow try everything to save its kids. but we, as human sometimes do violate things to kid. sometimes i think, which one is more human-human or animal?
