Hi. ranelyn. Welcome to myLot! I saw a movie called "Midnight Meat Train". Their was a demon that pulled the man's tongue out of his mouth. This man was unable to talk again after this. So from this, I know that it is impossible to ever talk without our tongues.

I really don't think that we can talk without our tongues. It would be difficult to do so. I do think that we need our tongues, if we want to talk.

God has designed every organs in our body for specific purpose. Our tastebuds are centered in our tongues and it helps us in our speech. Try taking away the tongues, we will be reduced to a mute person. No words can be comprehensible without a tongue.

Yes it's possible. We make sounds with our larynx.

No, we can not speak without our tongue. We use our tongue in support to speak. When we speak we need to touch different parts of our mouth to speak out different words and this would not be possible without our tongue. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

No it's not possible. It's the tongue that allows you to actually form the words. Without it, all you could manage to do would be to grunt!

Without our tongues, it would be extremely difficult to speak coherently. Being such a flexible muscle, your tongue is able to assume different shapes. These shapes change the flow of air when you speak, allowing different sounds to be propagated by your vocal cords. I found out how hard it is to speak when I had anesthetic in my gums which also numbed my tongue. My speech was slurred and I ended up being the butt of many jokes. It was if I was heavily drunk.

From what I know, we cannot speak without a tongue. It's what helps us form our words. Without it you would just be making grunting noises.
