Zodiac Stars

I wonder how many of you have been following or have been an avid observer of your own horoscope or zodiac stars. Because, I think what you are about to hear might come as a shocker and to some extent - unable to accept the latest findings.
If your horoscope has never made any sense to you and/or inaccurate all this while, then there may be a good reason why - it could be out of date. According to Professor Parke Kunkle, who teaches astronomy at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, it is believed that there's in fact 13 and not 12 zodiac stars in the horoscope.
The proposed 13th star sign, Ophiuchus, is a constellation in space and existing prints of its symbol indicate it is a heavily muscled individual holding a snake to the sky (see attached image).
Those born under Ophiuchus are said to have lofty ideals, enjoy longevity and are inventive. It is believed that astronomers are now proposing to move all the star signs back one month and introduce a 13th star sign, Ophiuchus, to help readjust the zodiac calendar. So, those who are currently Scorpio or Sagittarius could make the switch.
Now if this is true and the changes are to be implemented, then I am sure a lot of you will be actually reading your signs erroneously all this while. I can sense a turmoil awaiting to break out here.

Hi,
I used to read my horoscope daily in newspapers and used to related it to my day. But I have noticed that it has never proved accurate. Every time it has differed from my experience. Now the system has changed and now I am coming under different zodiac sign. I think I should leave my habit of reading horoscope and start not believing in zodiac signs.

When i was a kid i always watched tv and wait for the lady to tell what is my horoscope and lucky color and number for the day. Wow really so the rumors are true that for example you are scorpio and now theres another zodiac sign you became a sagitarrius.

I suppose this might be the very reason why you've experienced the inaccuracy of the readings.
However, I suppose you have done the right thing in not falling into habit of following the readings to the extent of letting it dictate your life.

I do not how you take the readings of the zodiac signs but I do see what the recent discovery has stir up quite a number of avid followers.

My daughter's new zodiac sign now is ophiuchus.
I am now a capricorn from being an aquarian.
Well, it doesn't bother me much for it doesn't affect my life anyway.

My feeling on the entire zodiac is that things are written in such a simple way that any sign could be valid to what happens in your life on a given day. That said, I think that if there is indeed a 13th sign of the zodiac, that is well and good, but it should only impact those people that are born from this time forward. Before this discovery, it essentially didn't exist so I really don't see the point in putting everyone into an uproar.

That new horoscope makes me think of what should be my horoscope if that zodiac sign will be added on the list. That is very troublesome if they still push to put that zodiac sign on the list. Many people will be disgusted to know that they believed on something that it is not for them for so many years of their life. But as i heard on the television the Ophiucus was still a very young zodiac sign to be on the list. So there's nothing to worry about. Yeah!

Yeah, this is true, all the while when I'm reading my horoscope I am a Sagittarius but now I am under the new sign Ophiuchus. 
I can't believe it. Yes, you're right there will be turmoil if this thing gets going. But is the reading of the new signs accurate? Oh, mine what kind of a person am I now if I'm no longer a centaur?

To be honest, I really do not know how this is going to affect you but like you, I do not think it is easy to accept.
Whether it is accurate or not, it will be individual but (no offense) I think we should not be overboard to the extent of letting these readings dictate our lives and decisions for ourselves.

I have been wondering what all these zodiac news was all about, never really paying attention to them. I have never really bothered with my horoscope, but in my opinion this may spell bad news to those who make a living out of it. Imagine their credibility of making fortune telling is on the line because the zodiac calendar is out of date

I had heard that the signs would be changing. Some of my friends were complaining. Some of my friends have tattoos of their zodiac symbol.. and now their symbol is changing. Something that has been a part of us our whole lives, suddenly changes.. it's very strange. I am a Taurus, always have been, always will be. I don't care what they say my new sign is, I'm a Taurus! It fits me, very well. I'm not interesting in seeing what my new zodiac sign is.. it won't fit me at all!

I think this thing should not bother me or anyone else at all. In the first place,I believe Horoscope is deceitful and something I don't waste time about. My life anyway is not depending on the movement of stars and planet just as this Horoscope is trying to tell people. My life and the life of every one depends on God. So for as long as I have God then my life is on his hand and no changes in that thing called Horoscope will ever bother me.

Horoscopes are so general that it will fit to anyone. You can't find yes or no in any horoscope. However, as I am a Ophiuchus now, let's see if it will make any difference in my horoscope.

We can't deny the the galaxies are constantly changing. However...In our lifetime, the stars slowly began to shift and turns out we get an extra zodiac. But this is where alot of people may find relief in, the 13 zodiac sign are only applicable to those born before 2009. Because prior to the shift, people were born the the years when there were still 12 zodiacs. I'm sure everyone around here can't be born on 2009 unless you'd be maybe 1 or 2 years old. So just relax and go on with your lives unchanged.
