I make sure to eat 3 meals a day since, I will get cranky if I don't. I usually eat a light breakfast in the morning, a moderate lunch at around 12pm and moderate dinner at around 7-8 ish, but sometimes the time may vary. I also have some snacks in between. How do you eat your meals everyday? Do you still eat 3? Do you sometimes have to skip a few meals because you're so busy? Can you function with a skipped meal?

I rarely ever skip a meal. I usually eat a bigger breakfast and dinner than lunch. My breakfast is my biggest meal. I only eat snacks when I am hungry for a snack. I am actually trying to cut back because I am trying to lose weight.

Hi Yes three meals in a day is good idea. The breakfast should be the heaviest and the last meal - the diner should be the lightest. Also 5-6 light meals in a day can also be useful for those suffering from diabetes and ulcers.

I'm a grazer. I tend to just "snack". I might have a banana or packet of crisps before heading out to work. Then at work I'll have a scone and latte, or I'll pick at salad and fruit through the morning. Then I'll have a bowl of soup or a small plate of pasta/pie (whatever the main meal is at work) and maybe a cake. Then I'll pick at salad again and some bread. When I get home I might have something small again and then pick at chocolate or pickles all evening. I can't eat large meals without getting sleepy, but if I go too long without eating something, even just a handful of raisins, I feel sick. I don't get cranky, just hungry and then sick. I describe it like my stomach is trying to crawl out and go hunt down food :D

More meals a day consisting of reasonable quantity of food is very healthy. I have 3 meals a day and 2 snacks consisting of fruit. I couldn't skip any meal because I would feel weak and tired. That's the way it works with me: I burn my energy very quickly. So I eat sometimes more when I feel I need it, but I'm not fat at all! Maybe because I eat healthy meals without many fats and preservatives or others like that.

I get about five meals a day. I'm not overweight or anything. It's just I made it a habit to eat five mini meals everyday as it keeps me energized the whole day and keeps my stress level to a minimum. I don't know why that is. That's just what I observed since keeping the habit.

Hi. Lore2009. I usually will eat three meals in a day too. With one or two healthy snacks in between. If I don't eat a big breakfast in the morning, I will drink a breakfast shake to make me full. If I skip a meal, I may end up overeating and I also may binge on junk foods. I don't like eating unhealthy, so I make sure that I eat three times in a day.

Well I try to eat 3 meals a day but it is hard because I wake up at 5 a.m. to get ready for work so I usually will take some pancakes from home and heat them up in the microwave at work and bring left overs from dinner the night before and eat that for lunch or just bring a microwave dinner and cook for dinner when I get home.

The old-get up, gorge, work four hours, gorge, work four hours, gorge has been found to be a very unhealthy habit. It in effect tells your body digest now, pancreas work your fanny off, make you sluggish until the sugar wears off, get jitters from low blood sugar; repeat two more times. The new - get up eat some nuts and berries, two more hours, eat whole grains and diary, two more hours eat more whole grains, nuts, veggies and some proteen, repeat three more times. This way your body suffers from no sugar shock, or sluggish after meal performance. Amaizingly my body is happier that way and I've been eating like that since I moved out of mom and dads.

Oh, I usually eat a good breakfast with tea and cookies, the lunch is very rich, always with 2 dishes and at dinner too. At least once a day I eat pasta (well, of course I eat pasta, I'm Italian!). So I eat always at least 3 times and sometimes between lunch and dinner I eat something more. And I make everybody envious cause I'm very slim. I try to don't skip meals. When I'm out of home I eat a piece of pizza or a piadina or a kebab.

Very, VERY rarely do I actually skip a meal. I start the day with a light breakfast, nothing too big because I don't usually feel hungry upon waking up. Around mid-morning I will snack on a banana to tide me over until lunch-time. This is when I'm usually at my most hungriest. For dinner, I need to have a proper meal else I just won't feel satisfied for the rest of the evening.

I usually take 2 meals a day which is lunch and dinner. Recently, I've taken light breakfast also. However, I feel that my waist is expanding because my pants are getting tight.

I rarely eat three meals a day. Often I just eat one with small healthy snacks at the middle of the day. I may eat breakfast food at my main meal but it may be in the evening. I don't know if three meals are recommended by the health associations, but I can do fine on my one with the snacks. I've often thought that eating is just a habit.

I snack. I eat six snackish type, small meals. I eat a big breakfast, then about three to four hours later I have some fruit. Then about that long again I have a sandwich, then some stemed vegetables, another snack depending on my appetite and then a snack with some milk and that usually holds me over until I start again the next day.

Uhm, when I was still fat, I am eating 3 meals a day. But ever since I were obsessed on getting myself to lose weight,i started to skip meals. At first my body didn't get to hold of it. So I find an alternative to do it. But when I was already thin then I think I just eat twice a day., without any snacks. Its just a matter of time. Although being fat is not so good for me.

I rarely skip my main meals, which is breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also eat snack when i get hungry. But usually i would eat well during lunch that i don't get hungry in the mid afternoon. That being so, i am able to save my allowance for other things to buy for my own . When i am not able to eat lunch on our lunch time because we are still in a meeting, i would surely eat a hearty one after the meeting.

I try to eat 3 times a day but I basically wind up eating maybe once or twice a day. First off I should eat better than I have been and try to eat maybe 5 small meals since I am a diabetic. It is important for diabetics to eat properly and small meals throughout the day. I tend to not be hungry until about 11:00 am after waking up about 6:00am. When that happens I skip lunch and wait for dinner.
