A tiny house has gone up for sale in Surrey, England. It is only 7ft wide and just 308 sq ft of overall space. I've seen tiny homes, like the tumbleweed homes which are portable, but this is a brick construction. http://www.clarkeandsimpson.co.uk/more_details.php?profileID=366113 Despite its very small size it is for sale at £95,000 (US$152,000). Would you pay that much for such a tiny house? I can't imagine you could have more than one occupant.

I imagine painting it with candy colours. It would look cute. If I have the money, I would buy it. Its for convenience stay for a single person. And may be rent it out for other singles when I'm no longer single.

This is about the same dimensions of living accommodation as you get in a 60' narrow boat, except that, of course, the staircase uses up space on both floors. Most narrowboats are used for holidays only but there are a surprising number of people who live quite happily in such a small space! I cannot imagine using this house as anything more than a 'town house' for when I needed to be in Framlingham. It would make a cosy little place for two (just) but with hardly any room for storage and I think one would have to be quite inventive when furnishing what they grandly call the 'Reception' area! This isn't quite the smallest house in Britain - there are a number of contenders for that title but, I have to say, this comes close - the best qualification for the title goes to the Quay House in Conwy: http://grumpystumpy.com/Articles/smallest_house.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smallest_House_in_Great_Britain

As far as price goes, £95,000 is probably quite fair for something right in the centre of a town in East Anglia. You have the 'boasting rights', too, to owning one of the most compact properties available but you DO have to pay over £1000 a year in Council Tax, not to mention the utilities bills!

I also love the estate agent speak "overlooking the communal gardens" meaning, you can see the garden but it ain't yours.

What a cute little house. There are alot of reasons to buy such a cute little house. It's location, uniqueness, size, and history too. The price tells me it is well built and will last a while. Does it come with mus

I personally don't like it, its seem like long hall. The price were outrages for my standard I can had big house with pool at thats price. I think people will only stay there for its history or no others option but if we see the price they offer its will a lot more option than thats. I think its will be a big problem to say in thats kind house if you had claustrophobic.

u are saying small house costs that much price but i think that price belongs to total land and house and that tiny house is in a centre or popular area thats why the house increase the cost and real estate due to the land they are going not to the house whatever house it might be first of all u see the land it is a centre or anything the land is the main matter but not the house see the land and enquiry it then take it or purchase it

No, there is no land with the house, not even a small garden or yard, just the house! Property can be very expensive in the UK especially in some areas but for the same money local to me I could get a pretty decent 2 bedroomed apartment and even a 2 bedroomed house with a garden.

That's hilarious first of all. Second I would not pay THAT much money for a tiny house. Maybe 5,000$US. Maybe that much. I believe that price is insanely high and crazy

I paid $65,000.00 American for 1 1/2 story farmhouse and 10 acres of land (mostly swamp, but still), so no, not at this time. But I wouldn't rule it out for the future. One never knows. The cost of wood and metal, even brick are very high for rebuilding.

It looks cute and cool. But the price..is not cool and cute for me (hehehe) It's a wonderful Six million six hundred fifty pesos in my country (more or less) I can buy a 2 storey house with 5 bedroom for that money already.

OMG!!!! I am laughing so hard... That is indeed very cute and overpriced. Well, I don't know the area, so I can't really say about the price, i suppose. It would be great to have it as a bachelor pad, I guess. I would not buy it at that price. More than one person would be a bit crowded, I think, unless you are the size of Pontipines from 'In the Night Garden' or a cartoon character that can flatten against the wall.....

That was overprice house. No way I would buy that type of house. Only 2 metres wide? What can I put to furnished my house? Absolute nothing.

I think in that area real estate was booming thats why they are telling the rate like that.
