We all know that a small kindness can make our journeys lighter and more enjoyable. Even bringing an instance of kindness to mind can put a smile on your face days or weeks, or even years later. One of my most vivid memories goes back about sixty years to when I was a boy of 11 or 12 and of the kindness of a person I will never forget. I'm sure that this person had no idea of the effect her act of kindness had on my life. Who here has such a memory?

A good word, the simple act of kindness! Barefoot and dirty, sitting on wet ground, the girl looked with some curiosity and endless succession of people's indifference. There was no attempt, how to tell small. Not a word never uttered. Minded people walking past their work without throwing any of it or to stop them in right. The next day I made my way back through the park, curious to see if the girl was gone. He was standing in exactly the same place as lonely. An endless sadness razbatea through her ??eyes blue. Not to hesitate, I turned to her. After all, a park is not the most appropriate place for a child alone ... As I approached the girl, I noticed a strange bulge, who pick up back dress. I thought maybe this is why people a bors, without making the least gesture to help. When we arrived in front of her, the girl has looked down, avoiding my gaze tenacious. Now I could clearly see her shape back. Between rib hump rises a grotesque, large. I smiled at the girl, in an attempt to give him to understand that everything was okay, because I was there to talk and give a helping hand. I sat beside her and tried to break the ice with a simple and harmless "Hello. " Taken by surprise, a little girl bagua "Hello" slightly rare, then staring me in the eye. I smile again and she responded with a shy smile. We talked until, imperceptibly, it was left dark and the park has become deserted. I asked her why she was so sad. The girl looked at me with a melancholy expression, and I said: "Because they are different" ... We confirmed immediately, "Yes, you're different, " and I smiled. The girl was dark and more like while I answered: "I know that. " "little girl" I said, "so cute and innocent, it reminds me of an angel. " She looked at me and I smile, then stood up slightly and said "Really?". "Yes, little lady, you're like a guardian angel, sent to watch over the passes in this park" . The girl nodded yes and gave me a new smile thrown, then opened wide wings, with a twinkle in the eye sagalnica, addressed me: "Yes, you're right. I am your guardian angel.". I silent, unable to make even the smallest gesture, sure I see visions. She continued to talk to me: "Because, ultimately, you managed to think and to someone outside of yourself, that's my job on earth is finished. " And I jumped up and I exclaimed, with a perhaps too strident voice: "Wait a minute, why none of the passers-by did not stop the way to help an angel?" She bell voice, amused: "You were the only one who thought me and you could see me deep in your heart. " Then, slowly, without the slightest rustle, and took off and was lost in heaven. Since then, my life became very different. If you do not ever think that you only have yourself, remember that your guardian angel is near, always watching over you.

What you said is true.If you receive a help from other who is neither kith nor kin and does it just out of kindness, even if it is very small, you will remember it for ever.At the moment when you receive it you feel that how beautiful the world is and a warm current runs through the body and you feel keenly that "Love makes the world go round."

Oh yes, of course, I do and will always remember acts of kindness that were done for me. And I believe that in general, acts of kindness leave an imprint in one's memory. In the end of my life, I, too would want to be remembered for the acts of kindness that I did for others to the glory of my merciful and loving heavenly Father.

I remember getting beat up. He was gonna use a 2x4 wood with a rusty nail at the end, but instead he used a lame baseball bat to swing to my head. Such a kind gesture. I'll never forget that. Although, yeah, I forgot about it for a while due to a mild concusion after that.

Well, I'm sitting here baring my soul and trying to think of an act of kindness that has effected my life in any way! So, I give up trying, and try to come up with an act of kindness on my part! I must be an old Bear because I can't for the life of me remember either doing an act, or receiving an act of kindness from anyone in my while life! How inconsistent with human life is this?

I have several memories of people being kind to me and my family. Each and every instance that I can recall reminds me that there really are good and kind people left in this world. They have all impacted my life greatly, and I think I will always remember them.

I do. When i was pregnant with the first one, an old man insisted i took his seat in the train. There are quite a few that happened to me. You are right they bring such joy. What is your story anyway? But if you dun want to share, its okay. I am just curious and mischievious that way.
