yeah, its going to go down, but gee wiz!!!
it isn't even the middle of APRIL!
I guess this is pay back for all those lovely winter days!
I guess it depends on the sun coming out - still a pretty nice 72º (22º C) right now

No, nothing strange here, just gray and yukky. We've had rain and I don't remember what the sun looks like anymore. I just would like to open up my windows and enjoy the smell and sounds of spring and summer already.
Can you go out in your yard with some big fans and blow that warm air towards Ohio? We sure could use it here. Enjoy, wish I was visiting you now, lol!

Yippee! I just read the response above me and it's going into the 80s here in Ohio. I'm doing the happy dance right now. We need a happy dance icon on myLot, something silly. Anyways, you can keep the fans in the house now, haha!

Hi ElicBxn, don't know what part of the country you are in, but like dragon said, Ohio is going to be in the eighties tomorrow. I guess that is unusual for April, but I am so looking forward to it..

stine1 is correct, I'm in the capital of the great nation of Texas...
it is supposed to cool off later this week, but I WISH it would wait for 90's until at LEAST May!
Mind you, I have seen 90's in February, but that is VERY unusual!
But we got up early enough to do the few things that HAD to be done outside while it was still nice... need to shut up my bedroom before it get hot tho...

Oh stine, Texas probably is even hotter, since it is further south. Ohio is inn northern past of America..
@Kash, Oh I'd love to have you over to play in my backyard, just got to watch out for the dog dirt and their mines, (holes they make like a mine field) and the dogs themselves if they are outside with me.
I usually put Ciara on the dog run and let Penny run loose while I work. This is because Ciara refuses to listen and stay with me. Penny on the other hand, if she takes off, all I have to do is whistle and she comes running back..I really wish Ciara would learn form Penny..;(

Yuppers, Texas.
Carmel, I'm with you, so looking forward to it. Now I wish I had a backyard so I could go out and do some yardwork. Carmel, can you come and pick me up so I can play in your backyard?, haha!

I'm right there with you. I just got back from a week in the Caribbean where the hottest it got was 92° and was thinking how great it would be to get back home to the low 80°s.
Well well it looks like I brought the weather with me because we were tying records for the hottest day when I got back.
SUCKS!
Thanks,
Zelo

We'll hit 80 or above tomorrow, which is very unusual for April in Ohio. My neighbor is ecstatic, I am dreading it. I prefer temps in the mid 70's or high 60's, that's when I'm most comfortable.
The weather is strange this past year or two. I think it's because of the natural warming trend (not man made) and I hope we get back to normal relatively soon!

I'm sorry dragon, when I saw that it was going to be in the eighties tomorrow, I also was ecstatic. Today is also going to be warm, but with the chance of rain, that puts the gloom in it..lol

Just saw this Carmel, and I'm doing the happy dance!
Dragon, I don't think it will feel like it's in the 80s because it's too damp and wet outside. It will probably feel like it's in the 70s so you should be happy.

Kash, me too, I love the warm weather. Though the rain could make it cooler, doesn't it also raise humidity, making it feel hotter? I could never quite figure that part out..But as I sit here, rain is pouring down along with thunder, so if I disappear, you know why..

It was a lovely day yesterday (Saturday). Sunny all day and about 10-11°C — truly spring. Some people were out in shorts and shirt sleeves (mostly the young and impervious ones) but I kept my jacket on. It's supposed to be warmer today, about 17-18°C but it's also supposed to rain. It's overcast right now and I have a dull headache...

I like 40-60, a few low 70's. I like the sun, but the roomie likes it cloudy (dark is good for her eyes). I don't like it really hot or really cold, used to like cold, but age has kind of made cold uncomfortable.
Granted, I've never lived where there's lots of cold and snow, never plan on doing so either!

Not here, but then, you ought to be used to weird weather where you live, as it's always raining cats & dogs!

Well, the Meals On Wheels Cat Lady--I can never recall her name!!--came today, so now I have 15 lbs of cat litter, & of cat food, too! She said she'd get some flea meds next month. We're out, right?
Oh, & the M.O. W. "Groceries To Go" came yesterday, & left a head of lettuce (plus the usual carbs, etc.) on my doorstep! So the lettuce may very well be limp. Cat Lady put it in the crisper for me...we'll see.
Gotta go; nuke just pinged. Not going to Mass tomorrow; stomach still too squirrely, durnit. At least the nausea & pain seems to be over with!
BTW, did you get the LOLcat pic I captioned & sent to you?

I saw that heat wave coming through on the news down there..lol..I thought about you when I saw it. There has been odd weather here...lots of snow..tornado warnings and such..that is pretty uncommon in my area. Rain...we have been in a drought or right at it for a very long time and suddenly this year we are above what we should be.

Luckliy Wisconsin is not having that heat as Texas is! Today it did start off extremely foggy. Aound 8:00 am a it got windy for a short time and the fog was pushed out. then it rained for awhile! The sun finally came out later in the morning and was out the rest of the day! Where i live it got up to 72 days. Your typical day in Wisconsin,in April!

Feel free to send some our way--it is warmer today and sunny (thank goodness) after another day of rain and 40s yesterday, and one coming again tomorrow. 90s would feel very, very nice, although I suppose one could have too much of a good thing.

We have had some really warm weather. When we went to the farmer's market this morning, my husband only wore a t-shirt. I sure hope this weather sticks around forever, and that we never ever see snow again!!!!

Hey Elic! Not yet, but on Monday it is actually supposed to reach
75 degrees! I'll believe it when....That is still just a bit
warm for this time of year, but we are still just about making
it into the 50's during the day and back down to the upper 30's
at night! I so want Spring to get here already. The birds are
back-now all we need is the weather to catch up!

I live in Eastern Canada and spring is here...melting a bit almost everyday. bot 1 week ago though, we got a big storm of about 1 foot of snow. Now that is weird, but we often get a storm after it starts to thaw.

Don't feel bad. I think the whole country is experiencing strange weather. In Pittsburgh it has been raining and cold a lot. Just the other day we had snow! Tomorrow is supposed to be 80. Today it is only in the low 50's. One day is very warm and then the next it is cold again. Mother Nature can't seem to make up her mind if it is spring or not.
