We have the tree up and decorated, and the house is cheery and festive. We still have some finishing touches to add yet.

Wow...aren't you just a jolly little elf. LOL. We don't decorate until the first week of December. When my kids were little though, I always put up the tree and decorated the weekend after Thanksgiving. I miss thouse day. Is that a pic of your house? It is really lovely. Have a great day.

This is a pic with our kitten in her bed. The water bottle is to warn her not to play with the tree.

christmas decorations - christmas decorations with candles
I am like you and decorate the whole house but i usually do it the first week of December.I have to get my hubby to start organizing the lights and decorations for outside as that usually take a bit of time and we usually do any repairs and buy a few new bits and pieces. Your home looks great i will post my pics once i have decorated. Have a great day

New Kitten and Our Dog - The new kitten sitting by our extremely tolerant dog, Daisy:)
We have our tree up and a few boxes of decorations laying around that we still need to dig in to. My grandparents are coming from Indiana tomorrow, so we need to get on it! I'm a little concerned that our new kitten will think of all the decorations as a playground... or worse; I've already had to stop her from going potty under the tree several times... She's so cute though!

Itty has surprised me. She hasn't climbed the tree like I thought she would! We didn't put the ornaments on the bottom branches. This was so she wouldn't be tempted to knock them about.

I live alone and so this year I am limiting just how much I will decorate. I will buy live garland to make my house smell like Christmas. I had some decorations that I put up and an artificial half tree that hangs on the wall. I live in a small apartment and I am on a very limited budget. My girls are too busy to come to my house so It doesn't matter like it used to. I think it would be different if I lived with someone. Happy holidays to you and yours!

The tree is up...with lights and bulbs, every little ornament hung not to fall. The banister has light wrapped around, thank goodness the spare fuses were found! The lights on the mantel are laid gently across, we couldn't use nails, it would upset the boss. The stocking are missing, they must be found, but if we can't find them, we will use the socks lying around. :) Yes, we have begun decorating. Could help but to give it in a stupid little poem setting.

WOW arent we the festive one??? LOL Well I am sad to say this year is very very different as we have to move on the 1st December and my house will be in a complete disarray for weeks. I am visualising a half unpacked house with a tree in the middle though....LOL

My husband actually started before me! He really has the Christmas spirit this year. Neither of us currently has a job, so we have plenty of time on our hands to decorate early.

Nope not yet this year. Usually the day after Thankdgiving I have my tree and decorations put up and everything cheery and bright. But This year I can't seem to get in the Christmas spirit. I just don't feel like decorating or even shopping for gifts which is usually my favorite thing picking gifts for those I love. And I don't know if I will decorate this year maybe something small like a 2ft tree instead of the 6ft one and no decorating the house. christmas is usually very special for me and a happy ocassion but this year to many problems,worries,etc...

We usually put our decorations up the day after Thanksgiving. We used to put up lots of outside lights, and indoor decorations when the kids were at home. Now that they are all grown and gone and we live in an apartment it is a small tree and a few pieces that are special.

We are completely decorated for Christmas. We have our tree up for about 2 weeks or so now. Dad started putting up lights outside before Thanksgiving, and me and my mom finished up the final touches this past weekend. The house looks so pretty with all the Christmas stuff, I love this time of year.
