We bought our grand daughter a porceline teaset for an Easter basket toy. The girl loved it and played with it for hours on end drinking sooo much water. Here's a cute photo of Savanna & I. Anyhow what was cute was she would pour cups for everyone telling them it was tea. But when it came to pouring mine, it was "Grandpas Coffee". Too cute as she knows I do not like tea very much. Have you ever played tea party with your kids or grandkids? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Aw, how unbearably CUTE!!! I remember when she was just a tiny little thing a few weeks old.... Yes, I've played tea party--with my boys! Yep, I taught them very young how to pour tea and serve refreshments and mind their manners, all in the context of tea parties. They are very mannerly now when they wish to be and can behave properly in any situation. And we had a lot of fun! I really miss playing with my kids.

Her, of course!! You remind me of a bear, especially holding that tiny teacup in your huge paw.

Awwww that's enough to melt anyone's heart. That is sooo cute.....well, even you are cute (with her) What is it about tea party that every little girl seems to enjoy? I remember when I was a kid that I used to enjoy having a tea party, I thought that was just because every girl in my area does it. I have two daughters, both loves to have tea parties. Younger one is now almost two and she just started doing the tea party. She does not have her own set yet, but using her older sister's set or any kind of thing that she can pretend to be a cup. She does not have anyone near her age living nearby, so she could not have gotten it from anyone. It must be the woman thing. Have fun with her. She is just soooo adorable.

She loved being able to pour it, serve it, and drink it with whomever she was with. She loves to help cooking and doing dishes as well. So she is growing up to be a typical housewife it seems. She has a beauty paegant in June. Her first and we all hope it goes well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I think I did with my daughter. It has been so long ago. I think you have a great idea, when the weather is hot, Savanna will drink more water when she plays "tea party". I have never thought of a tea set for Easter, although I did always try to get something they could play with each year.

Mandy posted on FaceBook that night that she was thinking Savanna would be overhydrated as she would not quit filling the teapot up and drinking it. LOL. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Wow, she has grown into a beautiful little girl..I didn't personally have a tea party for my one daughter, but this woman at a church we were going to had all the girls come to a tea party. All the girls dressed up in these fancy dresses and there was a lot of really good food. Pictures were taken and the girls played games, it was really fun..

Wow so cute and she looks like such a pretty princess. Hey I never thought about a tea set as an Easter Gift. What an excellent idea. I love that she likes to serve Grandpa coffee, how cute is that. I do remember the many tea parties my daughter invited me too. I also remember the loads of juice I had to drink as if it were tea. lol Thanks so much for sharing, what a lovely picture.

I didn't do it with my kids but I remember doing it myself with my dolls. I loved my tiny tea-sets. Bob, that photo is awesome. I'd be getting it blown up and framed and taking up an important place in your home. It's just gorgeous.

Hi Grandpa Bob! I can't believe how much she's grown! I still remember when she was born and to look at her now she looks so different, but still a beautiful little girl! She really looks more and more like her mommy (say hi to Minnie for me) and she sure loves her Grandpa! You are a lucky man!

Too cute! I had tried to do that when the girls had small plastic sets but in time they lost everything or did not take care of their belongings and that was that. Though I'm planning on doing some picnics in the yard with them as the weather warms.
