Not a heart pounding moment or time for applause really but after reading a discussion about just doing your unresolved discussions and getting done with it I feel like I have accomplished something today. Just wondering do some of the rest of you also put this off then have to play catch up and does it not give you a nice little feeling I have accomplished something? your take fellow mylotters.

Mom I am trying to do it too, but always think better responses might come and by selecting BR i might have done injustice. Well henceforth i will do it on the 3rdday of my opening mylot, even if there is just one response. Thanks for sharing God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Kalyani ‘Namastey’. .

Hi Kalyani I love that Mom. I feel so special thanks. I always try to wait a week as so many times a lot of mylotters are either too busy with their jobs, or have been ill and thus have not got to read our discussions then I might miss one response that is way better than the others. I often wish just for the sake of fairness the mylot admins would let us pick out two best responses. hugs from hatley

After reading this, a little voice inside of me is trying to convince me the same, I just don't feel motivated enough to do it. Anyway, does it, in anyway give you a bit of extra earnings?Because if it does, that's motivation enough for me.

Me, too. I feel like I've been soooooooo far behind with almost everything. Every accomplishment gives a peaceful feeling in your heart that lingers until you need to do something again and accomplish it.

I have always wanted to do it and get all my past discussions resolved but this procrastinating disease is always hampering my efforts. It is good that a discussion started by hiccup prompted you to act immediately. Will also follow up soon.

hizandi yes I got that disease too and its in my health issues now I have some bloodwork to be done and so far I have put it off for over a month and now I have accomplished doing my unresolved discussions maybe next is take a morning off and go fasting to get my diabetic blood work done so I can go see my doctor for a diabetic checkup.Oh I could blame this on my addiction to mylot but as its a health issue I am ashamed I have not done it and got over it. Its not the sticking of the needles that stops me as they are so good you do not feel anything, its just the calling to get an access bus set up on a certain day then skipping breakfast and going and getting it done. Have you got any cures for procrastination? I sure have not.

hi velvet I am getting an early start on this discussion as I am so far behind on my others. I was off line a lot and thats what made me so behind,I spent 20 days in rehab hospital as the results of a fall , another 14 days as I was quarantined out of myroom as my roommate had shingles, then spent one night in the hospital, and 4 days when we were moved from 260 to 252 and I was off line till I got time Warner cable man to get me back on cable. I imagine your blog will take time too.

Personally I would Love to get to this point, and say that all my discussions are resolved, but I am SO FAR behind even keeping up with just the last couple of discussions. Seems like I never have enough time anymore. I have been so busy this month there are days I have hardly been able to post anything at all. Maybe some day things will change, but I continue to do what I can.

hi tina you have so much on your plate so I can see its not easy getting time to my lot here. I keep thinking about your poor wound and looking at my own leg . that rash I had for over a year and finally got rid of is back but now I know what the ointment is that cleared it up. So I can ask my doctor, primary care, to prescribe it again for me. good luck God bless

Hi Hatley, I'm not good in writing discussion and I haven't done this for quite some time. Therefore I don't have any for me to cope with. I feel at ease and as free as breeze for there isn't any such task waiting me to accomplish Oh no, there is still one that I have started few weeks back. I'm not in a hurry to deal with it yet for it's still fresh. Moreover the response is not enthusiastically. Nice to learn that our friend has started a cool discussion to remind us about the unresolved discussions. Yeah, we should thank him as after reading his discussion would remind us whether we have or haven't got all our tasks resolved Have a nice day

ikbooi yes you are good at writing discussins as I have answered some of them and they were just fine.do not run yourself down like that as you are doing great with English as a second language. Yes Hiccup gave me the incentive to clean up all my unresolved discussions so now all I have left are my recent discussions and they are backed up.Those 20 days I spent in rehab hospital really put me behind also 13 more days when I has to stay in another room as my roommate had the shingles which are contagious.but I am trying and trying does count.

Thanks for the reminder my friend! I should try to cut the list--I've probably got PAGES of unresolved discussions, but many of them have 0 responses. Years ago, I had asked some friends to help me out--I think two or three got resolved, but none of them actually had 0 responses!

hiscorpiobabes I am a Scorpion too Nov.15th anyway glad this is a reminder to you. Now I am playing catch up on all my newer discussions. I never intended to get so far behind but being injured and in the rehab for 20 days sure was unexpected too. so now I am really going all out to catch up on everything. lol

I *tried* to catch up by responding back with some of my older discussions, but I have seven pages of them! I'm so embarrassed, but I have neuropathy in my back (a burning pain) that often sidelines me--as a result I only really got through part of one page! I'll keep trying though!

Hello lovely lady. I can't say that I worry about it generally speaking. However, in the case of one of my recent discussions, I'm still receiving responses even though over a month has passed. I feel terrible when I do best response and then receive more responses. Other than that, there is nothing to be gained is there? Sometimes, it's just too hard to pick just one response because the replies are so varied and interesting. Other times it's hard because everyone is basically saying the same thing. It's been a while so I should probably get and do some soon.

hi 4 months behind I am so sorry wow. no I guess really like you say don't worry about it at least not stressing out. I have diabetes and stress really shoots up our blood sugar. so I picture thie lovely tough bubble thats stress proof and I am inside and stress cannot reach me. guided imagery sounds silly but it works and if it works and I do not stress then my blood sugar stay s where it belongs.I never ever intended to be behind this much on my comments as thats just awful.

Wow, before replying here I thought I'd check and see how old mine are, I stopped looking when I saw some that are over three years old..Maybe if I ever have a couple weeks and completely nothing to do I might be able to resolve mine, but I don't see it happening anytime soon..

I am not doing as bad as my friend, who is still taking classes full time. I went from two class part time to taking only math in the summer and oh man, my mind is so clustered as I am trying to figure this out..I am not even in the working section yet, I am still in the first lessons where I am learning what we are doing this quarter and viewing tutorials..Not good, my friend is going to really be pushing it. Plus I have to take my exams early because the deadline is either a Tuesday or Wednesday, but my campus only has testing on Friday..So I get to take my exams earlier, which means less time to study..

Hi there Hatley Blimey I have pages and pages of unresolved discussions, I really don't understand why we need to do this. I don't like to resolve discussions too quickly after starting them because sometimes people add responses that is better than the one I chose as the best one and then I just get behind on resolving them - way behind hahaha

hi humbug it does get hard when you have a lot of pages to do but at least that way you are more fair to your friends in not giving the br too soon. I hate it when I give a best response and a day later I see some more responses and there is the one with the best response of all and I have no way to give them the best response. But ultimately we all do the best we can. lol.

I'm guilty of letting my unresolved discussions pile up and pile up. The main reason that I am guilty of this is because of the fact that I always have a lot of responses to the discussions that I've started that are really good responses and sometimes it is hard to come up with just one that stands supreme over the other responses. I think that the other reason for it, however, is because of the fact that I am just plain lazy.

hi dorannmwin I am guilty of laziness too at times and at times I wish we could give two best responses or best response and runner up . L0l. I had a lot of pages on this one too but I am not as far behind as I have been on some others. when I see]oje yerar or two year and still have unanswered responses that goads me ito coming here and catching up. Once I make the effort I feel really good. lol lol lolj

I resolve my discussions two weeks after starting them. It's kind of an ingrained habit. On occasion I forget and it will be three weeks before I resolve them, but in general I get to them regularly. But I think you are more active here, and you would have a lot more on your hands than I would. It would be easy to get behind in them.

hi ambiepam i started out making a few discussions so I could always comment back on responses then this year I have lost at least 31 days without being able to mylot and oh my goodness that put me behind., I had fewer unresolved than I expected but my other discussions I am still behind on. I started with this new one and am slowly working through others. I enjoy commenting but also I love to respond but have to do one or the other in blocks of time I guess.

Actually, I don't do them very often because I hate choosing the best response among my friends. It's sort of saying, I want you to say this or that and I don't want that. I'd rather have your honest opinion and not one that will 'make me happy and I'll give you the best response' sort of thing. Not everybody is like that but still, I'm uncomfortable with doing it however, congratulations to you for getting them all done!! Yay!! Question, do you get paid for giving best responses? Just curious....

no sadly we do not get paid for giving that or getting itg from what iI u nderstand. I know its hard to give best responmses as sure as I make one I willread further and see one that s even better than the one I gafe the honor too.We do get paid for all our commenting though and that helps a lot for me.

i do that about once every 2 or 3 months. as once i didnt realise it and ended up having to go over them for a couple days. i hate getting behind on things is the reason i try not to make many discussions as i feel mean toward anyone that does that and dont come back and respond to their responders. you know? you always keep up with yours Hatley, i noticed no matter what befalls you.

I usually try to keep my discussions resolved. If they haven't had any activity in a couple of weeks...I resolve them. I have got a little behind before though. It is a nice feeling to feel like something has been accomplished..I think the hardest thing for me is choosing the best responses...lol...there are some really good ones.

hi JenInTn yes I find sometimes I have two or three just about as good each of them and wish I could give them both brs but only one to a customer. lol I used to not make many discussions so that way I could keep up with commenting back on all the responses then lately I had made many more. so now I am playing catch up and hoping all my friends will kmow I did mot forget them after all.

Hi Hatley, seems i am quite late discovered your discussion. But, i will drop by for awhile since i am having the same problem like you. At this moment, i am still in the process of resolving one by one of my very very old discussions dated nearly 2 years ago.I am trying my best to solve them since now i have more time on my side. Just hope the person who receive my "BR" will still be here...

hi myth that was my concern too that some of myoldest ones where I gave a br would still be there. I had to smile awhile back when I gave a br to Hiccup on a threeyear old discussion. but as I told him it had been rolled into first place as four people had responded on it just a few days ago and I had unwittingly never gave a best response to anyone on that three year old discussion.

Hi Hatley, I believe we all feel nice and happy to be able to accomplish something at least it is true for me and you. I now only realized that I have not done doing all my unresolved discussion for a long time after seeing your this discussion. All this while I just keep respond and starting new discussion and really totally forgot all about the unresolved discussion. I would say I have plenty to be done. I need to set my target to be able to finish all my unresolved discussion within a time frame. Hopefully I can accomplish that and pick up some nice feeling.

hi yspmul Yes I did the same thing and then read hiccup's discussion about just doing it one at a time and you will soon be done. I tried that and was astounded when I had finally done the last one. Now I am playimg catch up to the other discussions I made b efore I fell and landed up in the rehab hospital. 'so now once I really get caught up here I will have that happy feeling again.
