MusicMagpie Due To Send Me A Cheque For £25.71

Whoopee! None of my CDs that were sent to MusicMagpie recently have been rejected, which proves I don't half look after them! I didn't get the full amount of £26+ because 4 of them on my initial list weren't included. THAT proves I didn't check my list. I did have a good excuse though..I was sooo tired after travelling back from Mum's and checking the bar codes on MusicMagpie that it must've slipped my mind. It was naughty of me ticking them all off without checking first BUT it could've been worse and it WAS late at night..or should I say morning. Haha! So chuffed with the money though and I know I haven't received the cheque yet but I only got the email off them today. They've been honest with me so far regarding the time it would take to receive the parcel and to check all the CDs so I DO trust them. Have you sold anything (in the music line) lately? Did you receive a good price?

I have sold a few things on Ebay recently, though not much. But I was looking to see about selling some of my CD's just have not gotten around to doing so yet. Great deal you got and good luck with future sales.

Not for a couple of months..I sold something on ebay but I was not happy with what I got...I think I need to learn what tricks they use to get the price they want!

Try to sell something that's rare. I did that with my high-end minidisc player that I never used anymore. One guy was a COLLECTOR of minidisc players, fortunately for me and mine was the ONLY high-end one he didn't have, therefore paid me very good money for it..and it was worth it too as both of us KNEW it was a rare machine. Not had much luck since though!

Musicmagpie are great when your cds/dvds are actually worth something from them, rather than just 30p or so. I've sold stuff to them before, more than once, just takes a while to get the cheque. I have a pile of cds & a handful of dvds that aren't selling on amazon, been going through them but most either aren't in good enough condition or they don't offer enough for them (Can get 50p an item to a stall on the local market). Got some good info from them though - they're fine about dvds that should have card slipcases that are either missing or damaged, as long as the rest is complete & in good enough condition and it's not limited edition packaging. Last thing I sold was a set of Simon and Garfunkel albums in LP style card sleeves, on ioffer - went for £26

hi Janey I have not sold anything lately b ut my best friend's son made quite a little bit of money when he was out of work selling various things on EBay . He made enough to have some money even though he was still looking for work. Now he has a great job in Hollywood editing film teasers or lead ins for coming new attractions in the movies., he makes twenty dollars an hour to start with and can move up in the company so hes really happy.I am hoping one day to see his name on the film credits for editors etc.

I've got a load of LPs as well but not all of them because a scumbag I used to live with sold some behind my back in the early 90s. I had that many of them I didn't realise until I left him. He came out with some excuse that a load were moved up into the loft when I was at work..but none were found. John does have his faults (as do I) BUT he would never do such a mean thing to me. What will I do with the money? Well, it's just enough to buy one roll of wallpaper I really like!
