Oh, I remember the days I used to struggle for that 200.

And I tried harder when msyD keeps on putting emoticons when she replies. How I love to use them.. Really!!

So the first time I got 200, I posted as many codes as I can. Then, I found out, only 3 are allowed.

I do not use smileys more than necessary. When I do I just use the :) and not check the MyLot code ones. I usually find a post full of smileys to be hard to read, to a point. If there is however moderate use of them, like how you do it, it is always good sign.

hi letran I love to use them to show how I am feeling and to tell the person I am responding to that I agree at times too; I like using them but am careful and discreet not to make any one angry with me as I do not use them against anyone here.just to show my own feeling about a topic or an issue. I always use them but wisely.

Since i was allowed to use the Mylot code after having more than 200 posts, i really enjoy using them.

It makes my comments looks very interesting and lively.

I think it is a cute way to express my emotion when i reply to any discussion. By the way, although i don't know whether it really helps to add up my earning but i will continue to use it. It is interesting to see some cute emoticons in our discussion.

Hi Letran, I like the emoticons. I wish there were more of them to choose from, but these are fine.. much better than nothing. I don't use them all the time, but for fun discussions I do. If the discussion was very serious, I wouldn't use them, because I express myself with my words instead.

Even i too consider MylotCode important to my post

. I started using the mylot to code to show my expressions in the post. There are set of favorite codes which i use in my post. The codes make my response more interesting to the user. I heard from someone that using the mylot code helps us earn more than normal earnings. I mostly use the sad, happy and the thumbup codes because i do not get much time to post. I would like to try the other codes as i get time and make my response more interesting.

hi letran knight. i was never a big fan of the mylot code. i guess you can say that it stemmed from the fact that i was never a fan of smileys in general. i just thought of these smileys and emoticons as unnecessary. when i was starting out in mylot, it was never part of my goals to reach the 200 posts so that i can use the mylot code. back then, all i cared about was getting best responses! lol!!! anyway, since now that i can use the mylot code, i use it although i use it sparingly. it is a good tool to have to drive home a point but sometimes too much of it, i know it is limited to three but still, seems to clutter the post. just my two cents.

I love using those emoticons at our mylot code. Sometimes, just using an emoticon is enough for me not to say a word anymore.

However, sometimes i would like to use the B , I , U, but it seems it doesn't take effect on what i am doing. It's only the emoticons that i knew how to use.

I think such letters in the symbol of the BOLD, ITALIC and UNDERLINE should be Highlighted first the words that you like to select for BOLD ITALIC and UNDERLINE symbol. that way you can have success experession on your sentences. i hope what we hardworkinggurl mentioned can really do something for you

Hi! I also use the myLot codes every now and then. I almost always use the smile

and the wink. ^^ If I used already three, I will use my own version of smiley, this ^^ and for laughing out loud, I'll just use "lol". But there have been posts where I didn't use them. I don't know, I guess I just thought there wasn't any smiley that fits my emotion during those times. I wish they add more smileys to the ones already present. It's better to have different smileys that represent a lot of kinds of emotions. Cheers.

I've been using emoticons too.

I think it is a cute way of expressing my emotion whether it be happiness, sadness, anger, or whichever applies. I also heard it adds up to earnings but have not really read confirmation about this. At any rate whether it gives added earning or not I'd still use emoticons because it adds up life to my posts.
