I don't get bored of MyLot as a whole but I do get very bored of answering the same questions every couple of days (you know, the standard "how do I earn online?" and "what does that star by my name mean?" and so on). It'd be really nice to have a personal "sticky" list where we could stock 10 or 20 good responses and just refer to them instead of having to go through the whole rigmarole of trying to remember where we said certain things.

but why not steer them to the source of the information the guideline the rules of discussions, the questions and answers or yes this could be in the sticky list good idea.or have mylot pop uo a page of the most frequently asked questions with the answers in huge print and in order to proceed to mylot they have to read the answers to the questions they just asked, be held captive so to speak. lollol lol Mylot pops up Cafe Mom every five or six minutes so why not every time a newbie asks how do i earn money here, whats the star for, whats this reputation thing they get the answer outlined in red and huge so they c annot say they cannot read it. he he eh.and if mylot could put it in several other languages too for the diehards who refu se to work at learning English.

MyLot works purely in English: that's one of the pre-defined standards, I'm afraid. In a way it's cool to re-type everything every time because it's more text and more earning. It just gets tiresome when it's a whole page long..!!

Although I am very active I have to say not really boredom but sometimes I am a bit disinterested and that is when I know it is time to log off. I do so as soon as I get the feeling so that way I can continue to look forward to returning back. Try not to push yourself when you are feeling this way as then it becomes a chore. Hopefully it has picked up a bit for you by now.

Whenever I think "I want to talk to someone online", myLot pops into my head. But after some scanning of topics, I rarely find anything to have my say. Previously I used to write a little still read a lot so I wasn't bored. But now-a-days even that doesn't happen. And I get a feeling quite near to boredom. Maybe I'm losing my grip on this site's pulses (?) could be the pressure to perform in limited net hours as well. Whatever, it's more like pushing myself. Unfortunately it's the same even if I return after a long break. Being all pessimistic here, I still love this site and my friends. So I'll continue to log in and 'getting bored' endlessly. Maybe one day I'll find that silver lining

I am going through the boredom phase with Mylot right now. So I answer less. No words just come to mind. No questions seem very interesting. Sometimes I just don't have opinions to share.

I never really get bored, but that's because I come here, like, every four days, and if ever I come every other day, I'd be lucky. If you get bored, then expand your interest list, and you'll probably get reccomended a bigger variety of discussions.

I only get bored in mylot if I can't find a topic that interests me, but it rarely happened, because the topic are so many and I can just choose those I like. just say whatever you want to say here, no pressure at all, anyway for sure veterans on mylot will understand what you mean.

hi alilin nope as theres such a huge variety of discussions to respond to and the more you use this English as your second language the more you will learn the grammar and well the language do not be lazy Ii do think lazy is the word not bored. you do not want to getout of your comfort zone and if you do not do that you will never learn English as its not that hard if you are consistent. also any of us English speaking mylotters can always help you if you just ask us.private message meif I can help English is my native tongue as I an American here in California US A. If you use firefox browser it has a spelling checker so spelling is no excuse.you cam do it and we can all help too,I am not bored as I really love mylot and you and all myother wonderful friends here. hugs from hatley.

i also visit mylot and participate in the discussions everyday. and i don't feel bored or something. with regards to writing in different language not of our mother tongue, i also have the feeling of not writing the right words or spelling. but it doesn't stopped me from writing. and in the long time of being here, i feel more secured and most of the members who are in my friends list know that i am not an English speaking member so they understand the situation. one thing one member told me is to ask when we are in doubt so to clear our minds.

It did happen to me and that was during the last 4 months, which, during the period I ventured into the world of Facebook, the online social networking craze. Liking other friends' posts and all sorts of things except for playing the games in there which I find it truly boring. Well but I use my Facebook account to post photos of my favourite---planes and stuffs related to aviation. I was a bit tired of posting here at that point of time and decided to try something new and from there, slowly I went into Facebook and stayed in there for a good 4 months plus before I came back here, which I feel is the best choice I made. Facebook is not entirely bad but to me, there's nothing to do inside except for posting what's really on your mind. I think Mylot is better and what's more is that the community is friendly and makes me feel welcome too!

I think that there have been times that I've spent way too much time on the website and when I've done that I've gotten burned out with the site, but I've never gotten bored with mylot. The reason that I don't think that I've ever gotten bored with mylot is because of the fact that there are always all kinds of different discussions so I am always able to find a discussion that is interesting to me to take part in.

It happens from me to time to get bored with myLot,especially when I don't find interesting topics in the last discussions or I don't have a very inspired day,and in that case I simply leave myLot and the internet for a while and try to relax or watch TV.If I come back to myLot a few hours later and still feel bored and uninspired,I quit it for that day and come back the next day with a refreshed mind,so even if it sometimes happens to get bored with myLot,I regain the pleasure of posting on this great site after I take a break.

MyLot is like my life now. I never get bored of the endless discussions that you can engage in. Without MyLot, life would be a total bore. Its like a brain exercise that you don't get tired of.

I've started using myLot for just a couple of weeks so it's too early for me to say. I log in daily and I find a lot of topics interesting. There are also a lot of "tiresome" topics as was mentioned on the other responses. It's safe to say though that I'm having fun. I also get to brush up on my English.I am also a non-English speaker and I find that reading posts and posting here on mylot helps me improve. Don't feel insecure though because I'm sure people won't make fun of you here at mylot. Good luck!

Its not so boring. When I used to use Facebook, I got bored there but not here . Here so many pages, you may keep on watching different pages all day learning new things, gaining some knowledge. If you keep on watching others posts reading them, commenting over them, I am sure slowly you'll overcome with your spelling problem.

I don't really get bored in here because the posts just keeps coming every second. You don't have to pressure yourself and get scared of what you write. I advice you to just let it flow. Write from your heart and don't be afraid to make mistakes. The best lessons in life are from the mistakes we did... out of those, you will learn something new everyday. Just keep mylotting.
