How can we save electricity? Nothing can be done without electricity One best thing is by using LED bulbs instead of the bulb that we use in our daily life. We know that CFL (compact fluorescent lamp)is better than Incandescent lamps but LED lamps consumes less energy. Use many LED bulbs instead of one or two. The light emitted by LED lamps is not harmful(except some) So it is better to use LED lamps in this world and we can minimize ENERGY CRISIS Also use more and more sunlight energy.

led lights in numbers can produce tremendous bright lights compare to bulb and florescent....

therefore, you are very lucky because you save a lot of penny due to low consumption's of electricity on monthly bills....

i was going to say that, LED lights can almost be too bright though!

Yes..! They can produce very bright light in group., and thats why we have replaced all lighting systems in our home by LED lights..

I bought a set of remote controlled sockets to cut down on wasting electricity..you plug in the socket, key the socket to one of the remote control buttons (You can control up to 4 sockets with the remote) plug your appliance into one of these sockets, and there you are..remote controlled lighting,no more leaving the TV on standby when not watching, inaccessible sockets can be utilised..and there's an "All Off" button so you don't forget to turn them off when going out.. Just one idea, but it works for Me..

Hi shkumbla: I completely agree with you. Actually I think that every little choice can make a change in the world and at the same time we are saving money. In my work I try to sae energy turning off the things that are not being used for example. ALVARO

not only can we use energy saving lightbulbs, you can get things you put into your water taps to reduce water flow, you can also get plugs that you put into your sockets first, then you plug in your appliance, which allows your appliance to run, but at a slower rate of electric useage :)

you told truth here most of us use power lavishly but preach others . Telling to others is easy, but we have to follow it, even when we are in a on mood . Use of Electricity lavishly, will restrict us in future.

Yes, that is a good idea. There are many thing that we can do to save our energy. And of course there are many source of the energy that we can use in next time

I suggest energy saving light bulbs. I like to have one light on at a time in the evening and not in the day. I suggest only plugging in something when it needs to be used like the television, DVD machine, laptop and so on. The only electrical thing that needs to be working 24 hours each day is a fridge freezer. I like to get as much sunshine as possible.

Nothing can be done without electricity? The Amish would be shocked to know this... Entire civilizations rose and fell without electricity. We are in far more trouble than simply changing what sort of light bulbs we use is going to get us out of. That is but a drop in the ocean. I'm not saying not to do it; I am, however, saying that these little tiny changes aren't going to stop the crash. My goal is to have a home with solar panels. My hope is to learn enough about not killing plants that I can manage to grow part of our produce. I also want to be a member of a CSA--to provide support to a local farmer and to provide nutritious food for my family. If we shift more to being producers rather than consumers, we will be able to soften the coming crash. However, at the rate we are going...

We can save electricity by turning off all the unnecessary appliances you are not going to need or use. Probably turn on or off some of the lights you need or use. You don't want your house to be all too bright with electricity lights. Attack the big energy users first because you'll save more electricity by dealing with the big ones instead of the ones that don't use much electricity. Go read some tips at http://www.ecomall.com/greenshopping/20things.htm

That is so true. I am using LED bulbs now instead of the fluorescent ones. They last longer and consumed less electricity. From the time i bought my new house we installed only LED lamps. Though it's a bit expensive but in the long run you save money and energy too.

It's time we should do something for the earth. We have thought about many ways to save energy, for example, turn off the light for an hour the whole world. It is so meaningful if we do this together. And you are also right that using that LED to instead bulbs. We do it from our own and i think this will helpful if all people start this action.Cheers.

I can agree about using the sun's energy. Especially nowadays the heat emitted by the sun is really increasing so why not make use of the heat energy emitted by the sun to convert it to electrical energy for us to make use and have a solution in our energy crisis. Making use of the most available and practical energy is the easiest way to save energy.

LED lamps are really good innovation. Solar power is even beneficial but solar cells don't come easy on the budget. I got see once some garden lights that have solar cells in them. It absorbs solar light by day and automatically turns on by night with the us of the absorbed solar light. Great!

I agree in regards to using more energy efficient lighting. Switching appliances off at the wall, minimising drier and washing machine usage will help as well as ensuring lights are turned off whenever we leave a room. A lot of people are turning to solar energy for their needs which is expensive to set up but will pay for itself in not too long. We use a wood heater which is a saving of electricity but sadly not too great for the environment!

Thank you for your response. As you stated , solar energy is expensive but it must be used now-a-day to minimize fuel or energy consumption. Also it is free after installation

basically, switch off appliances that are not being used :) Minimize use of electricity in homes. Use only what is needed. Also, switch off plugs when they are not in use, electricity is constantly being drained from such discreet sources. Also, as you said, use LED light bulbs as far as possible as they use much less energy as compared to normal fluorescent lamps. Solar energy is one of the most impressive ways of lighting up. o electricity used up, no resources wasted, just the power of our bright and beautiful sun. If building a house, make windows at strategic places to make use of the sun, so electrical consumption by means of light can be drastically reduced if speaking in terms of relativity. usually, huge investments are made into making a house cozy and using lamps all around. however, if one is creative enough, a house powered by energy from nature, that is solar energy, would be much more impressive! Remember, a small part from YOU can snowball and electricity consumption can be reduced drastically! Save the earth, save ourselves! Think about the younger generations! :D

The use LED lamps reduce the use of electricity. The LED TV also work the same. It means it must be turned off after using it. Thus we can save electricty. The use of solar energy also save electricy and reduce pollution. We should keep aware the people the importance of electricty.

Of course you are right. today many people are using TV and going out without switching it off. LED TV will reduce electricity. That is wherever we use more electricity, we must use LED bulbs or LED having machines

Technically led means light emmiting diode, i agree with you that the light emitted by the led is harmless.i like your topic of saving energy. in this nature energy can neither be created nor be destroyed it changes from one form to another.for eg sea waves are used to produce electrical energy by turbines, then electical energy into light, heat or mechanical energy etc.there are 2 kinds of energy resources renewable & non renewable.shifting from the usage of non renewable to renewable is very important. and finally i like your reputation towards saving energy..

Ya.., you are right. Light Emitting Doide.. It consumes very less amount of energy. Another important thing is about Renewable and non renewable energy..

Agree. LED light will instead of all traditional Edison light as soon as possible, now is environmental generation. LED light have enough potential. Our factory always put more power to promote and design new led light to meet the demand of the society. Welcome to comments us if you have this demand to promote LED.
