Gotta go to the printer to make fliers, trim hubby's hair and go to my part time marketing job. I need all the time I can get. It's 8:30 and I've got coffee made checked my email, and have half my makeup on. The good news is I won't have anyone tapping their foot putting deadlines on me because they are waiting for something I'm doing for THEM! The exception being-my husband, but he doesn't count. Do you work for yourself or do you work for "the man"? I work for me these days.

I currently work for somebody else. Although it has been much better than my last job, as I currently don't keep hours, I am in management, and had a big raise after moving, I would still rather work for myself. That's what I am doing right now. With all of the free time I have in my current job, I've launched a business on my own with the hopes that I could finally quit working for somebody.

Congratulations on the promotion and the raise! Working for yourself is sometimes more demanding than working for someone else. You get to keep all your own money though!

I do both. I go to a job and make the money I need to live off and to support my own little business at home..if that ever got going then I would just work for myself and that would be so awesome! Hope you got it all done just like you wanted!

It ended up totally crazy. I got to the printer but forgot my artwork. Still got it done and made BLTs for lunch. It was like pulling teeth to get hubby out of the workshop to trim his hair before leaving for my marketing job. Whew! Got it done. Tomorrow I meet with some college students at Coffman Union then go straight to my marketing job. Another busy day.

i admire your resolve for pursuing three goals and on. you might become very busy in your pursuits but it looks like it is clear to you what is important. it is also clear to whom you are working for. i take for granted this question. i always think that i am working for myself, but i think less of myself when i have the money because i send them to my family.

Well done on being so organised in your life. One of the best things that people can do for themselves is getting organised, as it means that we are able to spend a lot more time doing the things that we enjoy rather than doing the things that we just have to do in our lives. I work for myself at the moment and spend a lot of time working online at home. I have worked out that if I began my work at 8am and worked solidly until 1pm then I could have every afternoon off work and still have enough money to pay the bills at the end of the month. However I am not normally organised enough to do this and I will find something else to do other than my work so this means that I "work" for almost twice the amount of time that I should really have to in theory.

Today i dont have any goals to do but just one really and that is get a gift card for my cousins birthday today and to go to his house later and watch some monday night football in the lovely south florida. I do work online everyday to try and make the most i can of course and then i do work three to four days a week at a construction company as there assitant and do waht they need to be done. I dont mind doing what i do for work and i like working online more. I have long term goals i believe for a month but not any daily goals of course.
