I don't think people fully understand what Obama did, he did something that Bush and Clinton wouldn't do. He invaded a country that was considered (why I don't know) to be an ally, without warning them (many in Pakistan feel it violated international law). Could you imagine if another country did that to us? We would be at war with them in minutes. We all know that if it didn't work he would have been the only one blamed for the failure. Remember Bay of Pigs? Who was blamed for that failure?

Here is the problem with your idea: If Obama doesn't approve the attack it never happens. The question is why did it take this long for a president to have the BALL$ to approve an attack in Pakistan?

Jazzy, you need help from people with letters at then end of their names. You really have hate problems!!! There are many people in the pentagon that gained a lot of respect for Obama for doing what Bush didn't have the BALL$ to do. That is a fact, not hate.

the guy hesitated to even allow the millitary to invade osamas location and get him....HE HESITATED WHY??????BECAUSE HE DID NOT BELIVE WE WOULD FIND HIM!!!!! HE DID NOT WANT US TO FIND HIM. i disagree with his policys, morals, values. and dislike pretty much everything about him.. it is very blatently also sadly clear you like this liberal...communist. So further debate i think would be pretty pointless. I respect the fact you care about politics and actually have veiws. Many do not even care anymore....Have a nice day

Simple answer. He is the President and Commander in Chief of the military. He gets the credit for that reason.

Remember Bay of Pigs? Military experience doesn't mean anything when it comes to a decision like this. We all know he would have been blamed if the mission failed, so why not give him credit when it works?

i refuse to give someone who gose on a brand new vacation every 5 seconds the credit for what an american soldier who has worked his but off dose. It was very low key mission so no he would have not got the blame because no one really knew

The president gets credit (and blame) for all successes (and failures) during his administration.

For the same reason we give FDR credit for fighting and defeating the Nazis: in America, soldiers do what soliders do because the President tells them to.

Whatever happens under a Presidents watch he/she will get blame or credit. In this case obama did have to give the order to go in, and even though he hesitated a few hours he did give the order. I still give Bush some credit for UBL's capture too, since they passed off info to Obama. Still..it was under Obama's watch..Obama get credit...as was appropriately given to him by both Bush and Cheney.

I don't trust Obama completely either. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt, but at times it's really difficult..

yes obama said he was going to withdraw everyone from the middle east shows how honest he is. Also i do not see why he hesitated i think he secretly did not whant him to die i think they are cousins. osama obama they are the same to me
