hi mylotters..!! I have been having a toothache for about a week, and it's really hurt. I get pain almost everyday and I can't enjoy eating at all cos I should use only one side of teeth. I have plan to pull my decay tooth tomorrow or someday. what do you think about it, do you think it's necessary for me to pull it out? frankly speaking, I'm afraid of pulling out the tooth cos my aunt got bad experience with it (she had been pulled her tooth, she got cancer not long after that. she died ten years ago). or maybe I should just let my tooth remains in my gum? but it's really really pain..I even can't sleep well every night.. thanks for sharing and happy mylotting..!

Good evening dear humairaku , first of all i care to say that you have my simpathy regarding those toothackes ,ever since i cann remember i have had toothackes , but my reason is medical , because i have enherited a Hereditary Tooth Disease , and i have had days and nights of heavy toothacke , having regular visits to the dentist , but most of the times i had to wait for two weeks before i could see a dentist , because i had a huuge infection once , and i had half of my face that was sooo biiig that i could not see with my right eye , only with my left one , after those two awfull weeks full of antibiotics , pain pills and nights made days , i've finnally been able to see the dentist , that day i had FIVE tooths pulled out and ever since then , i've have not had a day of toothacke . I really hope you will heal soon , and hope that meanwhile you have some serios strong pain killers.

wew..five teeth in a day? you should written in Guinness World of the Record book as a person who pulled the most teeth in a day..!! LOL..how could it happened to you sir? don't you take care of your teeth well? maybe I'm also as careless as you in taking care of teeth, but at least I only have a decay tooth, not five..and after I promised to myself to take care of my teeth better than before, my decay tooth is not hurt anymore..and I didn't consume painkiller pills to reduce my pain of getting toothache..but I agree with you that having toothache is like living in a hell..LOL..

I've actually got very bad teeth, and I knew for a long time that it was something that I was doomed to have because of the fact that my parents had thin enamel on their teeth as well and as soon as I'm able to get the money together I'm going to get all of my top teeth pulled out and I'm going to get a plate. Now, it sounds like your tooth might have an infection in it right now and if that is the case, you need to take antibiotics to get rid of the infection before they will pull the tooth, but I do think that it will probably be best in the long run to have the tooth pulled.

actually I have good teeth order and condition, I also seldom get toothache cos I always take care of my teeth well. but my good habit changed when I had a baby. I turned into indiscipline person cos I was too tired everyday so I ignored brushing my teeth before sleeping. and now I should take a bad effect of my bad habit..:( what about today, Dora..do you still get toothache? :)

I don't think there's any relation between the tooth and cancer, unless she had cancer of the bone in her jaw and the tooth was just a symptom of it. I would suggest, if you can afford it, going to make sure that there isn't an underline problem and that you don't get an infection after the tooth is pulled. Unlike my 2 roommates, I still have all my teeth, I've had a LOT of work done on them, but I've got them all!

I should do like what you do, Elic..I have lost one of my teeth and I think I'm gonna one more tooth not longer after I write this, cos I can't afford of having toothache so I think I will have a dentist to pull it out. actually I have taken care of my well before I got married. I never forget to brush my teeth before sleeping but after getting married, I become indiscipline and lazy to do it. and today I got the bad effect of my bad habit. I envy you..!

Hi humairaku, If possible you should get a dentist to pull your tooth, that way you will not get an infection. I've never heard that pulling a tooth caused cancer and suspect that it was something else that caused your aunt's cancer. I have known people who have pulled their own teeth or got a family member to do it, but cleanliness is very important. Blessings.

my aunt got cancer in same location with the pulling tooth. my mother told me that my aunt felt pain in the gum (where the tooth was pulled), and the pain doesn't decrease though it had been long time after she saw the dentist. and finally she was diagnosed having cancer in her gum. and the cancer got worse after years and she passed away after 4 or 5 years struggling over the cancer. yeah, you're right, the best way is seeing a dentist. maybe I will ask the doctor to give X-ray before pull my tooth so we know whether it is okay to pull my tooth or not..:)
