Today I started playing badminton again after a long break. I am really exhausted now, but it feels great to get started again. I have joined a sports club in a nearby town. At first we played a couple games and then some of us played badminton and some of us played soccer. I chose badminton, because that is my favourite sport. From now on I am going to play once a week, I am very happy because it seems like a nice place and the other members are very friendly. In the past I have been a member of other sports clubs, and I have played tennis and golf, but I prefer badminton. Do you like sports? Which kind of sports do you like? Are you a member of a club or do you play with your friends?

I absolutely love sports so much!! I think football is just the most amazing sport out there cause it is so much fun to play and tackle other players and I especially love playing football when it is all muddy and dirty cause that right there just makes football, football. In football your suppose to get dirty and everything. I have no idea what I would do without sports in this world. Basketball is another favorite sport I enjoy playing very much to. Happy Mylotting!! :)

I have never played much football, but basketball was a very popular sport when I was at school. Very close to our school there was a park, a playground and a basketball court, and we often went to that place after school. We weren't allowed to go there in the breaks because we weren't supposed to leave the school, but some of us sneaked out of the school in the breaks sometimes

I have experienced the same thing. I don't play basketball with my old friends anymore. We don't live in the same part of country and we are busy with work, studies and our families and we are not able get together and play anymore. That is a little sad, but I think that the same thing happens quite often when people get older and get busy with other things.

LOL oh really that is pretty funny that you did that.lol. Basketball is also a fun sport to play, I mean I can get into it but I just get into football way more though.lol. I just really love shooting around on the court or playing games like around the world or 21. Those are popular games me and my friends like to play when we are hanging out sometimes. Since we graduated we have not been able to do all that cause of college and work. But I guess that is life though.

I am not into sports, never was but i could remember playing kick ball when i was a kid lol but i do not think i was good at it either hahaha i tried badminton but am not good at it till i was in high school and played darts and was a champion at it till college! My dad was good at it, i guess that is one good thing i got from him but then again i do not think darts is that athletic! lol but lately here in the office, we have been playing bowling! yes bowling! it is actually my first time to play it..since i chose dart when i was in college while my other classmates got into bowling.. anyways it is tiring but it was fun and you really sweat a lot! The office will be having a tournament and i could say i am looking forward to playing more.

I have heard about kickball, but I have never tried it, I don't think that it is a popular sport in my country. My brother and I used to play darts in our basement, my brother usually won but we always had fun together Your response made me think about the last time that I went bowling, it was actually a long time ago. It could be fun to participate in a bowling tournament again.

I also liked to play badminton but I would like to play soccer the most. It is my favorite sports so far. I also like to play golf and tennis but still prefer soccer as my #1. I am not good at it at all but I am practicing. I play with my cousin and let him teach me some moves. He is younger than me but he was (or is) outgoing and he knows a lot about soccer better than me. Unlike me I would be a lazy fool. Haha but now I am practicing and hopefully I can join a club.

I have played golf and tennis, too. I played golf for several years, my father, my brother and I played together. Mt brother is very good at golf and he helped me and my father practice. I quit about 10 years ago,I got too busy with other things like studies and work and I didn't have time to play golf anymore. I am not very good at soccer, but we sometimes played soccer while I was at school. It is great that your cousin and you can play soccer together and that he can teach you some moves. Good luck with your practice.

I used to play table tennis a lot many years ago, but I forget when I stopped playing table tennis due to my busy and hard work which is stressful that made me stop playing it any more. Table tennis was my favorite and is still my favorite. I will play it again sometime in the future.

Table tennis is fun. My brother and I used to play table tennis together. My parents, my brother and I spent our holidays at the same place every year and very close to that place there was a place where we were able to play table tennis. I haven't played table tennis for a very long time, but it could be nice to play again. I hope that you will also get the chance to play table tennis again.

Hi William and Porco, playing table tennis was one of my favorite indoor sports when no one interest to play outdoor sports. I always table tennis with my aunts and uncles when they are still young. Now, they are not living nearby my parents home, so i don't have any friend to play table tennis anymore.

I used to play badminton a lot until my daughter moved out, because for some reason my sons and husband can't put up the net like my daughter and I could. SO we didn't play this year and now the weather is turning colder..I really miss it too..

I grew up playing badminton with my dad and it wasn't until about 10 years ago we invested in equipment to play. So I had a good 8 years of playing before she moved. Maybe next year I will see if I can get her over to help me set it up..:)

I am happy to hear that you also like badminton. When I was younger my brother and I played badminton together, but when we moved away from our parents' house we stopped playing and there was a long period where I didn't play badminton at all. 3 years ago my husband and I started playing together, but we stopped when we moved to another part of the country. Today I started playing in a club, and I am happy that I finally have the chance to play again. It is a pity that you haven't had the chance to play since your daughter moved out, I hope that you will get the chance to play badminton next year.

i love sports although most people do not consider rodeo a sport i compete in all seven of the rodeo events (calf roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, bareback broncs, saddle broncs, and bull riding) i love the thrill and the adrinline rush i get along with most of the other competitors in the game in the past i was a cheerleader for eight years then i started doing rodeos and the two of them got in the way of each other i was having to pick which practice to go to most of the time i would pick rodeo so i decided to give up cheerleading to dedicate more time to rodeo

I am also a barrel racer. I want to get into team roping and tie-down as well, but I am not too good with the rope yet, I haven't given up but I definitely have a long way to go! Plus the local rodeo in our area does not offer tie-down, at least not yet. Good luck in your rides! And yes, rodeo is definitely a sport in my book, at least!

Hi cowgirl and mehale! It was interesting to read your response and your comment because my own knowledge about rodeo is very limited, and it doesn't exsist in my country. Could you tell me a bit about the seven different rodeo events and what you do when you compete in them?

I do not play sport, but I am thinking of taking something up. I tend to do walking a lot and cycling. I do get really tired easily and I know that I am out of fitness now, but it feels bad and I know that I have to get fitter.

I also get tired easily, but I hope that will change when I get back in shape. Walking is nice, I like that, too. I think it is a good way to get fresh air and exercise, and at the same time I get the chance to visit some beautiful or interesting places.

When i was a younger one, i played Badminton and was college champion but later for the lack of time, all exhausted. Now i play carom on our common room or club sometimes, but not so often. I think sporty attitude makes person more younger than age. take care.

You were the college champion, that it is great. I have never partipated in a badminton tournament, I only play for fun. In the past I played with my brother and my husband and now I have joined a club where I am going to play badminton once a week. I hope that I will have enough time to play this time. Last time I started I had to quit because I was too busy with work and other activities, but I hope that it will be different this time, because I really want to play again.

I am not a really big sports geek, when I was little, I like to play badminton, basketball, and ping pong too. When I grow older and older, I gradually lost my interest in sports. I just focus on making money, and when I was after work, I was too tired to play sports again. That is something right? While I was in high school, from time to time, I might play tennis, now, I just don't have time anymore.

Yes, sometimes it hard to find time and energy for both work and sports. Last year my husband and I paid for a membership of a badminton club, but it was a complete waste of money, because we were very busy with work (we both had two jobs) and we were simply too tired to play badminton after work. I hope that it will be easier for me to combine work and sports this time. Right now I still have two jobs, but after november I will get more free time.

I love dancing. Sometimes my husband and I turn on the stereo and dance in our living room, we enjoy it, but I am not sure that the neighbours enjoy it as well I am the opposite of you, I don't watch sports very often, and most of the time I prefer to participate instead of watching others. If I watch badminton I feel like picking up my own racket and start playing...I am so happy that I have started playing again after a long break because I missed it.

I love sports but I just don't seem to have the time for it though, my friends are similar to me too. We just don't have the time for it. I usually just exercise on my own, maybe some jogging with om music pumping trough my ears. I just do some sports at home, I don't actually join a club or a gym. Sometimes, I go to the beach with my family for a nice swim under the hot sun. I really love getting active, sitting in front of the computer or TV makes me feel really unhealthy. If only my friends were into being active.

I also like to go the beach with my family, but the water is usually quite cold in my country. When leave the water I run all the way to the car in order to get dressed as fast as possible Yes, it is not always easy to find the time for exercise when you have a busy schedule. Last time I joined a sports club it was actually a waste of money, because I was too busy with work and I was hardly ever there, but I hope that it will be different this time.

I like swimming, too. Sometimes I swim in the sea, but the water in my country is usually very cold, so it I am only able to stay in the water for a short moment. If I want to swim for an hour or more I prefer to swim in a swimming pool instead. I haven't played tennis for a very long time and I wonder if I am still able to play. You are right, sport is good for our health. It also feel great to be active, I have been very busy with other things lately, but I have decided to spend time on sport every week from now on

Yes I like sports. Recently I am playing badminton, but everytime I play, my foot is aching. Well, I put some safety gears but still I can feel the pain after the play. Maybe I am not really used to it. Now, my foot is okay and I am planning to play again. Other than badminton, I also play chess but I not good at it.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your foot, I hope that you will be okay and be able to play again. Yesterday I started playing badminton after a long break. It was really nice to get started again, but it was harder than I thought and I have to get back in shape. From now on I am going to play once a week. I played chess when I was younger, I was never that good at it either, but I enjoyed playing with my friends.

I enjoy swimming, too. When I was younger I often went swimming, but today it doesn't happen that often anymore. This year I didn't go to the beach at all, because I worked all summer, and now the water is far to cold to go for a swim, so the only option is a swimmingpool on the neighbour island.

hi! it is sad but i don't have any sports. i don't know how to swim, don't know any ball games sports. so i only exercise and do walking to stretch out. i wish i know how to play any sports, but i am not gifted with it. i tried to practice but i am too coward i think. i am afraid of the ball to hit me, i am afraid to get drown. with my kids right now, i expose them to ball games so they won't grow up like me.

My mother is a lot like you. She doesn't know how to swim and she has never played any ball games sports except the ones that she had to play when she was at school. My brother and I are different, we have both been in involved in sports. My mother made sure that my brother and I learned to swim when we were children and she encouraged us to participate in different kinds of sports. My mother doesn't want to get involved in ball games sports herself, but she enjoys walking.

I love sports, too. When i was still single, i used to go to badminton and tennis court, to play those two games with my friends and colleagues. It is really wonderful to be able to spend some time with friends playing our favorite sports. Since the born of my son, i don't have the time to go playing badminton or tennis anymore. And seen my weight had increase too, since i don't do much outdoor activity anymore. Maybe in future, i will find some time to play my favorite outdoor sports again. Hope to see you more often in here, Porco...

I used to play different things, but most of the sports I wasn't good at. I didn't have the athletic ability or jumping skills for basketball, and baseball became a problem because I guess I was the overachiever. I found my niche in playing football because I had the strength to play, and it gave me a reason to get bigger and stronger. This was another problem with playing baseball because when I hit the ball, they went far, or I would break the bat. I stopped playing football because work and school were getting in the way, killing free time. Also because I had gotten so big from lifting weights, that no one wanted to play with me anymore for fear that I would hurt them badly. Unfortunately now, as much as I like lifting weights, I have not been able to go on a regular basis lately due to lack of money and time. Now that I have more time on my hands, my goal is to concentrate on returning to weight lifting to grow more muscle mass. No one really likes me doing that because they don't see the point of having so much muscle, but I think it is nice to have since it makes a lot of things easier.

You write that people don't like the fact you spend time on weight lifting, but I think your own opinion is more inportant than other people's opinions. If you like it and want to do it, I think you should follow your goal I know that is sometimes difficult to find time and money for sport. I wasn't able to play badminton for of my work and my other activities, but from November I am going to have more free time and I look forward to that.

When you have exams and need to study a lot it can be hard to find time for sports as well. Badminton is my favourite sport and last week I started playing again after a long break, I am so happy to get started again because I missed it I like volleyball, too. I haven't played volleyball for a very long time, but while I was still at school it was one of my favourite games.

Sports is always a good and healthy way of spending your free time. I play badminton very regularly and its my favorite sport too especially that you dont need to try to gather a full and find friends to play with. Playing sports or doing any physical activity for that matter always releases endorphins (known as happy hormones) keeps you happy and gets you through the day pretty well. I know when i skip a day of a physical activity due to hectic work schedule and stuff i really get tired and don't feel too upto the mark. Also i love swimming and playing basketball and vollyball.

I agree with that. I also think that sports is a good way and healthy way to spend our free time. I missed playing badminton in the long period where I didn't have the time to play. I hope that I will be able to play regularly in the future. I love badminton. I have tried other sports and I also like some of them, but badminton is my favourite sport. I used to play basketball and volleyball with my friends at school, but I haven't played for a long time. Swimming is also nice. I usually swim in a swimmingpool because at the beach the water is too cold.
