Most of them don't even know exactly what they are protesting. The ironic thing is it is corporate greed that keeps people employed.

I think you may be referring to the tea party. Everyone in the occupy events knows exactly, point by point, what they are protesting. And the most recent poll shows 79% in support of it.

Exactly sierras and every last tool they are using in their protests, including the food they are eating comes with a corporation behind it. They are more than welcome to protest. It's a part of the freedom of speech and right to assemble. I'd say that's more in the minds of the 79%, not the right to act like you've got a clue when you don't. Which, you also have a right to do.

Nope, not the Tea Party. The people on Wall Street. To be truly effective as a protest, you have to hit businesses exactly where they will feel the most pain, in the wallet. Sound-proof buildings don't have ears. Most businesses don't even have headquarters on Wall Street. Of course, people support the protest. It is just that no one knows exactly what they are protesting against. The Unions are jumping on the bandwagon cause it is giving them some press and they need some good press. But they are actually guilty of the same thing corporations are, greed. If you don't believe that, look at a Union contract. It just isn't called corporate greed. It is called individual greed. Funny how it all goes around in a big circle.

99% of what? 99% of the lazy, ignorant, unemployed people who think they can get 15 minutes of fame by joining a protest about nothing? I don't even think THAT description fits the 2000 or so entitlement-hungry rejects that show up for these protests on Wall Street. By the way, what exactly is this protest supposed to accomplish? Were any of these idiots fired by a Wall Street Banker? Do they want Wall Street bankers to give them jobs, or just pay more into the government to be redistributed as welfare to the protesters?

I've seen protests like these, the people really don't know what they are doing, and they are trying to get as much attention as they can. They yell things like "Heil Hitler" and do Nazi salutes to try act as outrageous as possible because they don't really know what there backing up and have no proof. This website doesn't really tell me why I should go to New York and protest wall street, it just says to. But it shows people getting harmed as they try to protest. Wow, I'm really inspired. Down with the corporations!
