do you agree with this expression why or why not? When I was young my grandmother used to say it a lot and I just thought that it was nonsense. But I have an example from my own life. I used to be a big talker on the phone then I got a job that required that I make at least 100 calls a day. I got so fed up of the phone when I got home I never talked on the phone. Now I am at a stage where I want to talk on the phone and I call up different people, but they never call me. It is always me who makes the call. So to me this is a case of what goes around comes around. Do you have your own story of what goes around comes around, or do you not believe it, if not why not.

Yes, I agree what ever wrong we do will come back to us. I worked for a foreman one time that was a total jerk. He caused a lot of people to lose their job. Then he carried his authority a bit to far and spanked a young female employee. The company sent him packing.

I don't really agree with this statement. Based on what I hv observed and my personal experiences, this statement is definitely not true. People who hv repaid my kindness with all sorts of evil r still living gd lives free fm trouble, etc. Those who r wicked r still spared and some r still well-liked by others. I hv been kind to people who hv been unkind or evil towards me, but I don't usu. see my kindness been repaid in any way.

But I know of at least one person who has done all sorts of wicked things (incl. cheating) his whole life but yet he's still living in bliss in his old age. Instead, his children r made to Suffer in his place. What's worse is that he is still unrepentant. So, I don't believe that statement is true. My apologies...I don't mean to disagree...it's juz that I hv seen too many wicked pp being spared and that's why I can't convince myself that e statement is true.

Hi Winterose, Yes, I do believe in this saying. I think this expression is also loosely based on the golden rule - Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you. If you do evil things to others, it will fire back on you sooner or later. And if you do good deeds, good things will happen to you even when you didn't wish for them. I guess it's just the way things work. Have a good day.

Yes I believe that what you put out you get back. So if it is bad, look out...it's coming back to you. After my divorce I list my home. A coworker helped me to move. I gave her my dining room table and chairs. She asked me for my house key at work one day because she was going to get them out of the house. Well when I went back to my old home I noticed that the central air unit had been stolen. It wasn't long after that that her house burned down. I had already moved into a trailer and she was helping herself to my stuff. I felt helpless because I couldn't move all my stuff. She told someone else I gave her the central air unit. That was a lie. Her hands got burned when she was trying to put out the fire. I really couldn't feel sorry for her either at the time.

I do think there is a bit of that. I think my brother is getting some of that now - he's played "musical girlfriends" for some time, and now his daughter and our sister are really mad at him because of the way he treated his former girl friend. I, however, have considered him a jerk for a long time, I'm surprised the others are just getting the message...

Well there is this law called the Law of Attraction (it's mentioned in the movie The Secret), which states that positive attracts positive, and negative attracts negative. And it just happens that whatever happened to you are examples of this law. Of course, another way to explain this is the law of Karma, which basically says that what you reap is what you sow. So if you've been talking on the phone a lot, one day you're bound to find yourself in a situation where you'll be talking so much that you either grow sick or get scared of talking on the phone, which in this case is that job you got.

This is true. When I was younger I am a silent type and prefers to be alone most of the time while my friends are exploring the whole world and having fun. Now, I want to have some fun, but none is available because that are too busy with their lives. How I wish I go with them before when we still have lot of time to have fun and explore things around. have a good day

Hi Winterose, This reminds me of the song popularized by Beyonce. Yes, I believe in this expression. If you do good to your neighbors then good things will go back to you same with love, respect and exuding positivity in life. Cheer up Winterose, one day your friends will realize how they missed you and will be calling you all at the same time. Power hugs friend!

I have a lot of stories of "what goes around, comes around." Although I don't like telling stories. LOL Bad karma really does exist. There are a lot of people that have suffered this, including me. It really does come back ten times more and that's what you really have to be afraid about. It's like a wave that will just fall down on you and you can't really do anything but stand there and pray that it won't take you to an unknown place.

i believe this saying too. we have a chief that terminates every female employee that becomes pregnant out of wedlcok. she does not give the girl a chance. the poor girls pregnant and unwed are left without work. a lot was angry with her. one day the chief knew that her own daughter is pregnant. everybody laughed at her back since the daughter was not married yet. i know she must have been furious. good thing the guy agreed to marry the daughter. that is what we call karma

This expression for me is real. My experience was that when I was smaller I used to say that I won't do such thing as what the other people do, that at that time I thought is nonsense. But then as I grew up I did the same things. One of this is when I say my cousin who is a year younger than me when she was just starting highschool, it was odd to see her having her eyebrows plucked. I told mom I would never pluck my eyebrows, but then before the graduation march in college I have my eyebrows plucked just to have it shaped. I said Id never do it but I still did, lol... But anyway I am older when I did it. Most of the time little self karma like this happens to me.

hi winter rose lost my response c opy paste clipboard.yes we helped a man who had a health spa and gym across the street from us to save his equipment when the spa caught fire.A few years later we were in real trouble and made homeless so when our gym friend found out he helped us t o rent an apartment and get our stuff out of storage as he said he owed us a lot for help[ing him save his equipment and most of the gym.so when you help someone that help is not lost as good will come back to you one day when you need it. we tried to pass that help on and it also came back too. so good deeds are not lost they return when you need a good deed too.
