What is your experience with Expertscolumn?

I am very glad with Expertscolumn this month. The minimum payout is five dollars, and I have gotten paid two times for this month. I have reached the minimum required for the third payout, and just request for it. It exceeds my expectation. Part of the reason for getting paid nearly every week is the double CPM bonus. Without the double earning, I will not have earned so much. I think I can reach another payout before the end of the year. That means a nice tidy sum of $20 just for this month. Have you joined Expertscolumn? What is your experience with them?

I just transferred one article, actually a poem with a bit of a story as to why I wrote the poem. I also gave the article a modified title. I went to look today and it was surprisede by the good results. I'm a bit excited. I should transfer more articles. But My creative instinct wants to update the articles and change the title somewhat so that it will look like a new article.

I just posted another article but it took away all the spaces between paragraphs. How do I overcome that problem?

It is not exactly copied and pasted. I have changed it slightly and changed the title slightly. Will that be a problem? I had no problem with the first article. I had 38 views.

Hi 1hopefulman, if it is republished content, best to use the same title. You can also write a new poem based on the same theme. How many page views do you have for your article? I know that one page view is due to my viewing. Probably one page view from your own viewing!

I do not believe I have joined expertscolumn but I did see your name on the main page for an article you wrote. I am looking for an alternative to Triond and this might just be it. Did you ever use triond? Cause I would be interested if you used the same articles and got better results on here.

Also I did join under you and I would like to know the answer above before I anything on there and I also would like your help so I too can make some good amount of money too from writing. If I make even $10 a month you could make an extra dollar so think about if you can help me make more and how much you will get. I do have some good articles on Triond that I am hoping I can use on here cause they have done well on there for what well is on there.

Hi Buenavida, it happens at times. Usually the problem will resolve when you hit the refresh button. I am earning from the articles that were published in Triond. I have uploaded about half of it, and since this month Expertscolumn pays double, I reach payout almost every week.

Hi Buenavida, I can login to Expertscolumn. Hope you can login too. I wonder if you can use different browers to try again, if you still cannot see the website. December is nearing an end, so you still have a few days to earn extra. Once December is over, the rate is back to normal, not double rate.

Hi Alwayszzcitra, sooner or later they will change the rule. I just want to make full use of it to give a new lease of life to my existing articles. Once they stop accepting republished content, we have to write original articles, and that means more time and effort to earn the same amount of money. Hopefully that is still far away in the future.

hi scheng, you had a very good reputation at expertcolumn as you have reached one of the highest ever written articles in EC. I've been there for more than two years now and during that time, the highest article written by a member is only at 600 articles.Now, many members had reached that marked and few have reached the 1000 articles. that would mean a huge amount of earnings for you every month. A thousand articles would be a dream for me and hopefully would able to reached it during my stay in EC. My experience, is that I think EC is the best passive earner site there is right now especially for members living outside the US. Other site that offered the same platform simply cannot cope up with EC right now. Triond, bukisa, and Wikinut literary eat dust when compared to EC. Surely EC pays higher than these sites.

Hi Fulltank, it is best to let your earning accumulated, and then cash out just once a month. Bear in mind that Paypal takes a cut out of our hard earned income. No point letting them take a cut of our earning twice a month. I used to request for earnings when I had five dollars. That was in the early days when I could not trust the site yet. It was also due to the fact that five dollars was hard to earn in the beginning, since it could take a month or three weeks to reach that sum of cash. Now I request payout just once a month.

By the way, I go with my pen name "joeldgreat"over EC. I just merely in the top 15 or 16 list there. One good thing about EC, is that it also pays higher (at 20%) for every referrals you made. I've got mote than 3 dozens of them but only few are really up to EC. The good way about it is that, my referral brings me passive income forever too. By the rate you are going in EC, can you beat the number 1 top spot there? lol megamatt09 1,465 madugundukrishna 1,373 Madan G Singh 1,273 scheng1 1,048 ---THIS IS YOU, RIGHT? I just joined EC last year and so far, i think its the biggest earner of all the sites I joined. The good thing about EC I think is that its owner is I think not too greedy with money and had been very generous about its members. Earning the minimum payout really takes a few days for my articles to reach. So every month I would able to cash-out twice or trice. I wish I can reach the 1000th article until early next year. But right now, I'll just rely on my articles there to generate more income for me.

My writing experience in Experts Column is a pleasant one. Although I still have very few articles(columns), I know its earning potential is great. Which do you believe, is it easier to earn money here on Mylot or there on Experts Column?
@scheng1 (24650)

Hi Yansky, I give up on Triond too. The earning is just a fraction of what I am currently earning in Expertscolumn. A very good way of making use of the existing article is to join Redgage. You can post an article in Expertscolumn, then use Redgage to link to the article. After a few weeks, you can republish the whole thing to Redgage as blog post. In this way, you earn 2 times from your article. Plus you use Redgage to link to your article, plus publish a new blog post there.

Hi Yansky, you cannot compare these two sites in this way. Do not forget that Mylot is an active earning site. That means you have to post and get paid. If you do not do anything for a month, you will not get paid. Expertscolumn is a passive earning site. You can write a thousand articles, go off for a year, and come back to claim your earnings. The articles will still earn without your active participation. That is the whole beauty of having passive income.

There's still a passive way somehow on earning here, and that's through referrals. But anyway,I'm also an experts column writer, you're actually one of my friends there. I know you're one of the top columnist there. I would just like to ask, I originally write from triond. But I really wasn't happy with my earnings, unlike in experts column were i earn passive income even without to much article marketing.So I stop writing in there. Do you think triond is worth the time spending?

Hi,i just joined Expertscolumn, my name there is also aprilsong, in Triond, we need to make some friends and view their articles to attract views from them. Is it also the same case in Expertscolumn? I wish we can help each other.

Hi Aprilsong, you can do that in Expertscolumn. But I do not really leave comments on the articles unless they read and leave a comment first. My daily page views has exceeded 500 even when I do not promote it internally. I just hope that the daily page views can go to 1000. I think within a few months, I can do that. Hope you enjoy yourself there, and make more money every month.

I have not earned much, just a few cents, but that's my fault. I haven't been able to take the time to transfer my articles from Triond. I only have a dozen or so but I did add one original article a couple of weeks ago when I had a few minutes. I do find the staff at ExpertColumn exceptionally supportive! Unlike Helium and Triond, I get quick response if I have a question and they always keep me up to date on the publishing process. I think I'm going to like EC and it so happens that I have a few minutes today to devote to moving content to EC. I may even find some time to browse around and view others' articles! It's nice to have some time, for once, with nothing to write or do.

Hi Dragon54u, I think it is nice to have some extra income for emergency use. While the earning is not that great, since it is passive in nature, it does provide a nice surprise when you have a sudden surge of readers. I think the best about Expertscolumn is that it allows us to republish our content, so that we do not need to put in extra effort. I think I need another month or more to transfer most content from Triond. Glad to see that my hard work done previously is earning more for me.

Hi Silverfox, yes, I agree with you on both points. Expertscolumn is better than Triond in term of earnings, and the quality monitoring by the moderators. Even though our articles are published immediately, we know that a human moderator definitely reads through the content.

Wow Scheng1, that is something tremendous earning - almost $5 a week. That means you are earning about 90 or so cents a day. By the way what is the secret behind your success? Would you mind sharing it? What you mentioned about the double CPM bonus is something technical point not everyone will understand - at least not me. Can you say what exactly it is. In other words what is the pay they pay per 100 or 1000 views? That would be easier to understand. I have joined the site this month - around 15 days back and have upload 10 articles to it. I have already made 40 cents. But your story is something one of a kind. As you said that you have 800 articles on Triond - it's great. So, have you taken all your articles on EC? I saw that you have 86 pages that is at least 430 articles.
• India
18 Dec 11
Why I said it was fantastic was to the number of articles on Triond. 800 is a bulk of work. I can imagine as I write articles daily. I can imagine how backbreaking work it might be after all. I have an important piece of information now thanks to you - the increased rates in December. I never knew that. But what is the reason behind this? Promotion? If only I knew about the increased rates before, I would have started out faster for the month. Co-incidentally I signed up this month only as I said in my first response above. But why do they pay twice as much in this month? Is it due to Christmas or is there any other reason? If I say, I should take the advantage of the remaining 12-13 days, I would be right, isn't it?
• India
19 Dec 11
Hi, Yes, that looks more of a logical explanation. The December is indeed a slow month. And if EC keeps this double earning going, I am sure writers will benefit from it and so will the site. Life gets back to normal in January, and I don't think they may keep the same rates then. So, it is a matter of working hard, as you said, for this month. And especially the remaining 12 days.
@scheng1 (24650)

19 Dec 11
Hi Abhi, they did not give any reason for the increased in payment rate. i think December is traditionally a very slow month for page views. Most people are on leave, and will not be in until the Christmas and New Year is over. I think having a promotion in December is to encourage writers to work a bit harder to write and get page views. If the promotion comes in January, then they will have to pay more.

I'm also a member of this site. :) I usually post my articles first on Exposeknowledge for upfront payment, doesn't exceed $.50 but still that's a handsome amount of money overtime, after posting my articles there I post them in Expertscolumn for PPV passive income on my articles. :D Been paid by the site a couple of times as well.

Hi Is exposeknowledge a new site? Never heard about it before. What was the experience there? I write using Helium, wikinut and expertscolumn. My experience with Experts Column has only been positive. I have made some mistakes with posting but understand now how it all works. Between iWriter and EC I earned $189 last month. Hi Riempie, that is good to hear. I think the bulk of your earning will still come from iwriter, since you have to give up the rights to the content. If you write consistently in Expertscolumn, I believe sooner or later your passive income will be substantial enough to pay off some bills.

EC is a good site for writing, i joined there in this January and made around 100 dollars with this site, but the problem is they are paying through Money bookers to Indians, if they pay through paypal it will be good for me, as well as it is really hard to get more views in this days. Now the site is changed its look and removed the bookmarking options, hope they will add the bookmarking options like before

Wow, you got paid many times this month only? Congratulations then! I am still awaiting for my first $5 that I just requested. Now I know that Experstscolumn does work for the most of us. I hope to be able to stay active in that site. By the way, how long does it take for them to pay you after you requested?
@scheng1 (24650)
• Singapore
19 Dec 11
Hi Neelia, they do not have a time frame for paying us. I got my money just two hours after the payment request for the first time. After that, the average is about two days, because I happened to request on weekend. I think they will process once they login to check the payment request. I read that when they have problem with Paypal a while ago, the payment request took 5 days to process. However, they are very considerate in keeping the writer informed. So far, I do not have this problem. I do not expect them to work 24 hours, so if they can pay me during the working days, that is good enough.
