How often do you change your profile picture and why?

I rarely change my profile picture. Main reason: I don't have many pictures of myself. No time, either. And I don't facebook so much. In fact, I avoid facebook. Their motive for changing pictures? -boredom -to get noticed -to show off a good pic I think those are the reasons.

Like you, I rarely change my profile picture on Facebook. I think I have about 3 different photos in my profile and that's it. The first one was when our family was just the 3 of us . . . the second is my oldest holding her new baby brother . . . and the third is me with my 2 little ones (sketched by one of those drawing photo booths). I haven't changed my profile photo since that last one. Oh, and I think one other time I changed my profile into a cartoon character - it was for a cause (I think child abuse) - but that was only for a few days and I reverted back to that last photo. I have friends who constantly change their profile photos - and that's fine . . . some people feel the need to change all the time - I don't. Even on myLot, I've NEVER changed my photo! And it'll probably be the same for as long as I am here!

I seldom change my profile picture since I think it is troublesome for me to do it. I am a lazy person:) I am also afraid people can't recognize me since I often change my profile picture. So I would like to remain the same for a long time. I love China

I not change my profile pic continuously since last year my profile pic is same and I have no time for changing frequently. I dont like this.

Can someone help me.. How should I keep a profile picture in my lot. I do not know how to do so.. Is there are number of posts I have to make in order to have that priority?

I change my picture monthly or so. I usually wait for big events to make purposeful changes like joining a new political campaign or it being a special day like World AIDS Day or the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

I do change mine frequently, but usually for holidays or specific events. The new Timeline has allowed me to use some of my photographs for the cover and then use something else for my small profile picture. But I have found it tends to confuse some of my friends who identify me by one specific profile picture a friend created for me years ago when I was using MSN Chat (no longer around) and Yuwie (saw it is up for sale) and MySpace (dying in my opinion). I try to remember social networks are about having fun, and changing the pictures is fun and it does cause people to comment. I've used the same picture on here since I started years ago, and I let the account sit and did nothing for a long time. But I'm back now, and I might change it, but I'm a bit lazy so it can stay for now.

I don't really change my profile picture very often. I don't really feel the need to change it very often. I will change it on occasion, whenever I feel like changing it, but otherwise, I just won't really bother.

Hello snow hy biscuis. I change them rather rarely and the most common reason I have done so was in order to win a tree at a contest or help some NGO's getting more popular.

In my case, I don't really change PP that much since I am not totally a photogenic girl. And also, I have no time to edit my pictures. I just changed my profile pic whenever I spotted a nice photo of mine from tags, or from my own captures. Usually, it's like twice, or thrice in a month. :) Ps. I also have lots of friends like that. And they too got many likers' and commentators on their photos. But my friends are really pretty that's why they have plenty of fans like that. Me, I'm contented at my profile - just update sometimes and stalk many times.

My hobby is photography, gardening and pets. I have a huge collection of images which I use and upload them on FB. I keep changing my profile picture as and when I am in a mood.

I change my profile picture when I have some new and it is quality and beautiful. otherwise I used to change it still depends on us. I do not think that we need regular changing vva Facebook Profile Photo. nice day!

I very rarely change my profile picture. I tend to change it when I get a new picture that I like of myself or when I get bored of my old one. Lately I changed it a few times because of the holiday like I changed it to a Christmas picture of my boyfriend and I. Before that was a Halloween one of my friend and I. I have a hard time sometimes keeping up with my friends who do change their profile all the time.

Before i didnt changed anything on profile facebook coz its tiring and i feel not good on doing fb. But when i was involved to one of my friends activities i feel the same as what she did. She is very often change her profile pic everytime she come online she change it, and i see it good coz i saw her feelings and emotions. Now i do the same i change my profile pic according to what i feel. It was nice and fun really good, by doing this i feel relax and sometimes i feel im in the wonderland. :P

I donot change it show much as many old friends and relative I have. Sometime they face problem to find me out. But during festive time I used to change and its for few days and again I turned it back as before.

Hi snowhybiscuis I am like you and don't find time or have the inclination to keep changing profile pictures in facebook . I too see my friends doing that but I am comfortable with my present picture so long my old friends recognize me and reconnect with me . Happy myLotting

I don't change it because I don't think about it much. I can see how a picture though will help identify you with your audience and people will relate to you with it so keeping the same one makes sense. On the other hand it might do good to change your picture to give a different perspective about yourself.

I change my profile picture only once a month or I never change my picture. I only change my picture when it is a picture with memory or a picture I like. And I don't no why everyone change their profile picture so often ;o
