Hi Lotters and Friends
Last year I had done a picture of my family @ MyLot here - http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2433068.aspx
During the past 12 months, things did not go right between me and a few lotters (and they left MyLot for reasons known to them). I know I am not the reason for them to leave but then, I am also not the reason that could hold them back here. Their wish and preferences, I respect those.
But I am not going to leave Mylot fr any reason except one - They Ban Me. Never mind. All I wanted to share was that many of our friends here at mylot or anywhere else, many a times dont know what they meant to us. If only they knew and respected that... things would have been much different.
Do you ever give any importance to the friends you have on a virtual platform? If so, then why do you think to quit. I fail to understand this and maybe you dear ones can help me understand it better.
Already been 4/5 days into the new year... but still some friend of mine said - It is never too late for wishes from the heart. So here is my sincere wishes to you all for a HAPPY and Healthy 2012.

Oh leave it and I think many people left us in last year for their own reasons. However, I am glad that I have still communication with them (those who were my friends)

Oh Bhai! I will Never leave you. We are family! I still keep think of how fun it was writing an Unmarried Woman on a PM! And how you told Kavita about me and you both welcomed me into your family. It makes me feel so warm inside! I will always be here for you Always!
I know how it is. You met here . You connect and then they disappear. My Swedish brother did just that. On Monday it will be a year , 365 since I heard from him. I fear the worse. He didn't seem to be an insensitive person In fact he was the complete opposite! I feel if he could be online , he would be. Monday was his birthday. I thought about him and I send an email and a PM here . He didn't respond.

Like you i too treat my online friends equally as offline friends and its painful when any one of them goes away from us. 
Recently one of my offline friend shifted to PUNE and its now really tough to meet him as we used to often when he was in DELHI NCR.
Yes in the past i too have seen many MYLOTTERS leaving away by their own as circumstances made them to quit but really its not good to leave friends suddenly as i cannot do it when we have a strong bondings with them.

Whatever their reason for quitting I am pretty sure they are remembering you. They quit for some good reasons maybe which you and all close to them here before will never know anymore. Some people don't attach themselves too much to others here which is good coz they won't feel anything when they leave... But sadly, most myLotters here specially those that have find good friends online and offline are being too attach and expect this virtual friendship will remain... like how you feel now and I'm sure a lot of others.
Now don't be too sad Mr. Snowman Just enjoy being here making new friends while still keeping the old ones and cherish the memories you had with those that have already left.

They quit because of some reasons and logic beyond my understanding. But yes, I too hope that I am at least in their good books. I dont know why of this but I have developed many emotional attachments here and I am happy to have them this way. What a nice discussion! Yes, I do try to let all my friends know how very important they are to me but I have to say that some may not be aware of it. There are of course, my real-life friends and then the ones here on Mylot. So very true. We have become more attached to many here than in our offline world and the reasons are quite simple - we get to participate in many discussions which are too personal and we all do have a lot of fun on many others. I know that you and me, we will never fight.
I am hoping you will drop in sometime soon so that my house becomes clean. 
(Daddy only allows me to settle the house when somebody is coming otherwise it is always a mess).
And of course, I love to make others a guinea pig. My maid literally got scared of my proposed experiment, which I am going to do the day after even if the hell breaks lose. 
And I am so...........busy right now...just came to say hello because you'd mark me absent..dont recollect we fought over something last time, did we?

Yes, I and my wife have to visit you this year. It is a must do thing on the plans right now. Dont worry about the cleaning thing, I will have lots of time to assist you in that (also be a real time test to prove if my wife's lessons on these were rightly grasped by the student of hers)

I think people who leave because of some issue between the members here are too emotional. Why need to leave just because of that? Why can't we just give and take what ever it is, as we all from all around the world, and everyone will have a different background and different kind of thinking, and if there are sibling that have a close relationship that fight with each other, so, it is not a surprise for two person that are no relationship at all to argue with each other. And of course it is better to give and take whatever it is. I think if everyone respect other opinion and appreciate their help and comment, it will be quite peaceful. It is better to have more friends than having one enemy. So, never turn any of your friend into an enemy.

I was not in your list that time but am happy to see your circle. Accept those friends as the seasonal friends who shared a laugh (views, experience) with you. There are people who walk in and out of our life many times. It is not necessary all remains in touch with us but somehow we happened to remmeber them occasionally. I do understand you are missing the old group but do try to develop new friends as well. At the end, either you learn a lesson or you have a great friend.

i was probably not there when you made this image, but i can still find my avatar there which might be of saphy at that time. dear sid i value all my online friends and even though i have not met any of them in person, i really get affected by their happiness and sorrow.

to me. Its like I started on a long jourmey and along the way
met many others too on the quest for mylot. we became friends

I like the picture that you made last year. It is a nice way to remember everyone. It is sad when old friends decide to leave. I have been a member of Mylot since 2008 and many of the members that I remember from that time are no longer here today. My online friends are important to me. I know that I am never going to meet all of them in person because we live in different parts of the world, but I really enjoy "talking" to them when I meet them online. I have come to care very much for the people I have made friends with here. I have also missed those that have moved on for whatever the reason be. I think that the reason you give...being banned...would be the only reason that I can think of that I would be away too.
I have also worried deeply about a few of them that I haven't heard from. I can only hope that they are doing well.

Well, you know friend we can't please every body. Even if how good we do to anyone else. There people still not please on what we do even if that is good enough to help and please someone else...
Do not be dismay if some of your friends here ban you or telling something bad about you. Consider things that is life...all thing that happen in this life are trials and it should not be affect our daily activities in life...

I know most of them in your friend list..and there are friends some more in my list too and quite many of them quit from this site due to many reasons- they never mentioned anything just quit so it is quite 'many' reasons for me..I miss them and hope they will get back to this site but I can't see any chance of it. But I will always continue hoping for it~(^^)

I haven't quit yet but deleted a lot of "friends" about 6 months ago. Now I have two. Why? You ask. I started a business. Busy making money and out in the neighborhood talking to people. It's fun and rewarding when I walk into a grocery store and 15 people know me! I change my business cards just to start a conversation! "Here's my new business card!"
