Great idea but like polaris77 said, the hard part is how convincing them. Remember, they came to facebook in purpose to chat, promote them self, just play game etc. Not a lot of people want to discuss real think (even they get paid) The truth is I had difficulty to convince people to join mylot, specially on facebook. I can understand because most of my friends not even believe on Paypal .

I think it would be a good idea as long as your Facebook friends understand the concept of mylot. If they do...think of all the money you can make chatting with them!

I would and have. I don't ask everyone. Certain individuals have decided to join because of me. I noticed they like to talk. Some were curious what website I was referring to when I mentioned it. Some people wished they knew about it years ago. Some dropped off. Whatever they decided was fine with me. Positive attitudes are always welcomed here!

You can certainly invite them and it would be a good idea to do so in general, of course. You should make it clear to them, however, that the two sites are very different: MyLot is NOT Facebook. It exists to encourage and promote good quality discussion. The social side of MyLot is really a secondary consideration. You might start by posting the URLs of your discussions and the discussions you have been involved in on a regular basis on your FB page. Just modify the URL before you post it by adding ?ref=maishaybrown to the end of each URL.

Thank you owlings for responding. I never thought about the ways that they are so different. I really appreciate you for bringing this to my attention. I am going to get on that right away! Thanks again.

Well, it's totally up to you, of course! I personally would not want my Facebook friends here - or at least knowing that much2say is "me". My Facebook friends are my real life friends . . . and they would kill me knowing that I talk about them here - ha ha. This is my little anonymous place where I can vent (if I need to) and talk freely without hurting anyone's feelings (of the people I am talking about anyway). This includes family business too. But if that doesn't bother you and you welcome their opinions - by all means invite them in - and get some referrals out of that too!

I think it's a very good idea to add some of Facebook friends to mylot, but I think the hardest part is to convince them to join you and make them be active, because there are some users who register and then abandon mylot quickly;anyway,it's their loss.I fell in love with this great site right after I started posting on it and it's still my favorite after more than one year since I joined it,so if you manage to persuade some of your friends to give mylot a try,I'm sure they will also like this site.

Thank you for Polaris77 for responding. I am glad you feel that way. I have alot of Facebook friends that I only do business with and have never met them a day in my life. So I think I am going to bring them in too!

PS... I have abandoned this site quite a few times myself so I know that's going to be an issue.

Most of my friends on face do nothing but post useless things and jokes on other friends or reshare other's good post. They are there to chat and make fun. I don't see nayone there who even promote his businesses. Yes one friend who is a phtograher used to post his snap and promote his business to make other try him to make up potfolio. As my most friends are rich and they think doing these little earning will not be good for him. They think useless they only relay on offline jobs only. They didn't belive it and they just browse internte for fun or if some working is there. Second thing is that paypal is not that common here so most of my friends have no paypal account almost all haven't have. Thus it would be hard for me to convince them. They didn't do even internet banking so they didn't want to take rsik adding account to paypal most of them don't know how it work. It is hard to get referral and most of friends do not get here.
