How often do you play the lotto?

I was at the grocery store last night and I saw someone buying $20 worth of lotto tickets and $10 in scratch offs. I did a scratch off once because it was given to me and I won $7 and I played the lotto under 10 times in my whole life. I don't see how people get so addicted to playing with a very small chance to win. Do you play the lotto often or on special occasions?

Playing lotto is really a big gamble caused we didn't know if we will gonna win. There will be really a great luck to win.I do try to play lotto once in while to try my luck to win,but so far I haven't win any prizes and it's been a long time that I do play.

Very rarely, maybe once or twice for a chuckle. Then again, I really don't have the money to spare right on lotto tickets by the fistful like some people seem to do. There was once where I just felt, hey, why not, it might be an experience and if I hit, I hit, if I don't, it's not like I expected to anyway. But that was to the extent of my lottery playing experience. Some people I know have been playing the lottery for years. Many years as it turns out and bless them. It is a hobby and it is less of a gamble then most forms of gambling say the least. Granted, if you play the same numbers for years, every time, there is a pretty good chance that you'll hit. Still it's not something that you should hang your hopes on.

Yup, I do play lotto every week. Not a huge amount though, just one ticket each time. And, the best I have won was $40. That was exciting. But, I have been losing so much, and that's why I don't feel like spending for more than just one ticket a time.

I actually bought two today hoping that I would win some money to pay off some debt. I just won one dollar on one of the scratch off games which I then used to buy another one but I didn't win anything on the second one. I keep hoping that I can win a lot of money, and it doesn't even have to be like the jackpot or anything but just enough to pay off some of my student loans would take so much weight off my shoulders. I tend to buy more scratch offs because you get to know if you won or not right away. The most I won on a scratch off was $100 which was a lot for me that day because I didn't have any money and neither did my mom. But I do see people buyin ga lot of lotto tickets more than $20 of them and stacks of scratch offs. It gets addicted at times but like the little lottery guy says, "Hey, you never know".

I play a little bit, but mainly because of past experiences. Really never no luck with pick number type games so I only play scratch offs once and a while. I've had some luck at times buying a $2 - $5 scratch off to find I would win $50 - $100. I would like to say I don't even play scratch offs much, so looking win vs. loosing I would say I am a little in the positive. Its always a game of luck and chance, you win some and you loose some.

how often you play lotto or lottery I tell you I hardly play. try your luck sometimes but very rarely two or three months once. I won quite a few times but minimal gains. It's nice to win but to tell you I am not so addicted to say. Interesting discussion. nice day!

I reserve myself to playing just once a year. In Ohio, the lottery holds a raffle for New Year's. There are several cash prizes, and the tickets are $20. Every year I've bought two tickets....and lost . Yes, that is $40 a year lost, but at the same time I feel that compared to a lot of people, I am better off because I know my limit each year. Also, with so many prizes I'm bound to win something one of these years lol. One time I called myself playing the odds and buying $20 worth of $1 scratch offs....I won $8 , that put me off of lottery ticket for many years until just last year.

If I'm in the right mood for it, I will, but never more than $10 worth at a time. I don't generally win with either scratch offs OR lottery tickets, so it gets discouraging after a while. I find that I have more luck at throwing $10 into a casino than with scratch offs/lottery tickets for some reason. But I know a lot of people who go for broke and buy like $50 worth of scratch offs every pay day. I never hear about them winning anything, however. . Happy MyLotting!

I never play the lotto. Every once in a while Tim will come home with a scrath off but thats usually it. Now my dad plays at work they all get together and get cards and if they win they all split it. Kind of weird how it works i guess you can say. I dont mind the scratch offs becasue they are kind of fun and the last two or three times i played i actually one the week before christmas i won 14 dollars which was pretty cool put im not into playing all the time or anything.

I guess I would classify myself as an 'on special occasions' type. I do try and by a ticket when there's a birthday in the family or Christmas. I keep thinking that maybe it'll be my gift. And also, when the jackpot goes high, I would also consider that a special occasion. Usually it would be in the news that it's one of the biggest, so why not?

Well I guess If someone doesn't have any other options available to have a big a amount of money, then they would play lotto. That's in my opinion. I play lotto every week. But I only buy 1 ticket or two tickets every week. I don't know maybe I am just hoping that probably somehow it could happen and once it does I could help my mom and my family that are now really struggling with financial problems.

I played scratch offs several times before but then I feel that I am getting addicted to it.I stopped.I just won $3 out of $20 that I spent. So I stop because I am the one losing... I better save my change in a jar than to bet on luck.

I still play the lotto on occasions but not like I use to. It can become a very expensive like any form of gambling. I think that games of chance are just that a sucker's play very few if any of the players really win and come out ahead.

With lotto it is our luck already whether we are going to win or not. I don't buy lotto tickets although the price are very tempting to buy. When I am with my boyfriend, we buy since he wants to win.

As my luck do not favor playing and losing a few times I have totally stopped playing it.
