Before any of the self appointed mylot police start getting their undies in a bunch, please read this all the way through! Because I forget that I make money in mylot for my engagement in discussions in mylot I never know what I'm making! During the last two days I started two, count them, two discussions that turned out to be quite engaging for some people! And it all started with my main pet peeve with my neighbors, friends and family members! People were saying the title was misleading while most had a lot to say because they actually read the details! I was such fun to read and react too I forgot everything about making money! I am not here because my primary reason to interact with the people here is money! Mylot has been here for me during some of my toughest times in my life and some of my best times. I love to share and interact because I've received so much support during my dog's cancer and then passing away and lots of pats on the back for making decisions only a strong, intelligent person would make. And that boys and girls is how you make 40 cents in two days. Ok, all you mylot police, come get me! Catch me if you can! LOL This is too much fun!

whats with the mylot police crap? not so friendly an attitude from one who professes to love mylot. I really do not know anyone here who is a mylot police myself. All my friends are here to enjoy friendships, to share and care and learn from one other,'and lastly to earn ,the frosting on the cake. I found ti made the most money when it was the last thing on my mind because I was enjoying mylot so much. But I never make just 40 cents in two days unless I am really ill.I don't think we have met 20 04cqui.I really love it when mylotters actually do read all my discussions. lol lol lol If my suggesting one commers read the guidelines qualifies me for a mylot self appoint police well tough nougies, thats all I have to say. to me to read the instructions befpore entering into a new site just makes common sense; YOu do sound very self satisfied with yourself. way to go.

And I didn't start them looking for money! There was about two years there I just didn't have the time! But then again I'm just here for the conversation! Yeah Mylot.

As little time as I have here now, 40 cents would be a fortune. I do find that I earn a lot when i do start a discussion. Friends here are very loyal. I am glad you have learned that and that you really appreciate the way your friends and the whole community support you.

So are you now I was trying to suggest that, with two discussions, 40 cents was a vesy small amount and that, had you made three times that amount, then it might indeed have been worth starting a discussion about your achievement. I checked the discussions that you are referring to and realise why you only made 40 cents. Better earnings next time

Who knew that by simply showing friends and family that it is not so easy to make money online would create such a ruckus? This has been a fun discussion! However, my spare time is about to become less available. I just got a list of requests from the disabled people who live in my autistic son's apartment building! I'm a picker/scrounger for small appliances that are dirt cheap for them! Now that the holidays are over they are looking for new stuff like a small microwave, a fan with a hepa filter for allergies/breathing problems, etc. I can get those things brand new for like $2. I pick it, pay for it, tag it and my husband and I load up the truck and deliver the stuff! The residents give me the cost of what I've picked for them and we go home. These people are so proud they "paid" for it themselves so to them it wasn't a handout. It makes them feel normal, like an average consumer. My son feels proud because everyone in the building knows him now and it is in a positive light. They ask him how his parents are doing! This is my favorite charity, now if I could just use it as a tax write off or deduction or something! Time and sweat doesn't count! Damn. But mylot will always be here for me, 24/7!

Gee, sorry to hear about your Mum and your doggy. That's a bit of a hard blow. I lost my Dad a little over 2 weeks ago and the feelings are still a bit raw. I hope you are doing OK now. This may be off topic but I didn't get the actual gist of your post any way. I'm obviously stupid today...

I'm now totally convince that folk from the US earn more than everyone else. I spend hours here, (mostly reading) most every day and I'm lucky to earn from 01 to 10 cents a day. I used to be able to earn then minimum in 1 or 2 months, now it takes me 3 or 4. I'm also pretty sure I'll never move back to blue either. Bah Humbug

LOL I love how you say "self appointed MyLot police" - LOL SO TRUE!!! Congratulations on the 40 cents. I would say that's pretty good especially for what we do here on MyLot. 20 cents a day definitely adds up.

I know it's not a lot, but it's like finding 40 cents on the street just because you went to your car! People in New York don't even stop and big up change in the street! A woman tested this statement out one day and found $5 on the street just going to work and going home! That's crazy!

I'm still trying to get how much and how it is determined what we get from our discussions. I'm guessing the better quality of our discussions the more we will make. I am trying to just concentrate on the quality of the discussions and not worry about the earnings too much, that seems to help alot.
