I heard today that Obama launched the African American for Obama. What would happen if someone started a "Caucasians for Romney" or a "Caucasians for Santorum" group. They would be claimed racist to the max. So why does Obama get away with the African Americans for Obama crap? See this on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdjoHA5ocwU I think Obama is racist. Racist against whites, and he cannot get away with this

He does that because people no longer discriminate between racist, bigots and prejudice. Racist is the belief that one race is better genetically than another/ Bigotry is a pre-conceived notion that one type of person, religion or culture is wrong because you believe otherwise. Prejudice is like you lock your doors of your car when you see a person (black or white or whatever) approaching your car when they only want to tell you that your gas cap is dangling and you feel really embarrassed for misjudging them. Most people who dislike Mr. Obama are not racist, I think. They are reacting to his policies. Those that are bigoted are wrong as are those who judge him through prejudice. I am none of those, I did not vote for Obama. I was actually happy when he was elected even though I knew what he was and thought maybe I was wrong...maybe I was mistaken about the warning signs I saw. I thought we might be making progress. I'm not racist, a bigot or prejudiced. I judge by a person's actions. And Mr. Obama is being bigoted and possibly racist when he institutes a "AA for Obama" movement. He's all about division and if we fall for it, it will be the catalyst for the final downfall of America. Greed first; division will finalize the end of America.

"somebody like me"?? He's a mulatto! He's not an African American. But he will play any card to get re-elected and the race card is in his hand because so many Americans don't think.

I agree! Obama is using the race card to garnish votes. What gets me is that the Obamas are elitists and do not care what problems face Black Americans in today's society. The Obama would never mix with average black Americans. Barack and Michelle Obama will use any means possible to ensure them an other 4 years of living the good life in the White House.

I remember back when the Democrats controlled everything when Obama took office, and many people were comparing Obama closely with guys like Harry Reid. I can remember specifically stating that Obama and Reid were pretty much alike, only Obama had far less compassion for the black community than Reid. The well-spoken, silver-tongued, exceedingly-articulate Obama speaks incredibly well and distinct when delivering words en masse. But when he goes to a NAACP event or speaks directly to the CBC, he loses that and switching out vernacular and inflection, doing everything he can to sound the part save giving shout-outs and props and saying "Yo." Obama's viewed as a black man due to happenstance of birth, but I believe he views himself as a typical white liberal elite. He doesn't give a good damn about the black community anymore than the other elites do - and that's to say that they strictly believe all people should be wards of the state; minorities are just in better position to fill that role. What a phony.

Fatcat, I felt compelled to respond to this as a favor to you since I know nobody wants a discussion where everyone simply writes to tell you how right you are and how much they agree with you, right? I mean, how boring is that...lol? That having been said, here's my "two cents...at least the President is up front about it, unlike the GOP candidates with their "dog whistle" messages like Newt Gingrich's "Food Stamp President" comments and claims that "poor children" have no role models to teach them a work ethic. Then there's Rick Santorum's "I don't want to make black people's lives better..." remark. Ron Paul doesn't really agree with the Civil Rights Amendment and I doubt if Mitt Romney's ever seen an African American other than Herman Cain! Annie

HUH??? I hope you meant that as a joke because I was certainly not being racist, I DETEST racism in any form. If you meant you'd like me to pass your thanks along to Gingrich and Santorum, I'm afraid I have no communication with them...lol!

Obama is not upfront about anything. Not about how he feels about African Americans or about any of the social issues. He stands before a mike he didn't know was open and talks trash about the PM of Israel, then when the man comes here last week, he says, "I got your back"!! He's a phony through and through. Acting all concerned for Sandra Fluke's feelings, but did he call Ms Ingram or Ms Palin when they were called filthy names? NO

Personally this is one thing that has always bugged me and Martin Luther King never meant it to become White against African American, etc. and why is Obama like this when his Mom was blonde and White? Is he so ashamed? And personally does he think by doing this it will help his chances of being re-elected? If anything I would think it would in fact turn more against him and help one of the others run have a chance at being President for sure. Personally this is a SHAME and so very Un-American as well.
