3 years down... MyLot is Still The Best Place To Smile... Even on a Sad Day

Thesids, Indeed you've a great interest in literature i suppose,it was like i was reading my 12th standard English book now, the first paragraph seemed worser than that (i didn't mean your paragraph to be worse,but all that i meant was, it was more beautifully described than my english text book-it was the central board's english text so i even loved english-only wnglish to be specific-LOL) 3 years down? Yeah i could see it from the number you have (LOL) Do i always look at those before responding? Congrats on it anyway, keep going high :) Yes,though i'm struggling to get past 0,i would say myLot in my life dor the past week has really influnced me in way a number of things.I could learn things, have fun through discussing and responding and commenting back here (mostly i like the third one rather than the other two that i go and jus comment on some discussions without even responding-there's another case in it,maybe they had already given my answer or i Probably DON'T KNOW Haha!) Trust me,everytime,being seriously bored up here,i find these interactions to be the best.. I got an aunt (a relation after all) who helps me a lot in all my doubt clarifying seesions-the so called discussions (only 3 of them by me,LOL-as you can see, 3 for 50 is not bad after all)and another cousin here because we both share the same aunt (the theory she told-nice one nah?) and these are relations i have around the world :) Believe me,at times this could be real fun than seeing your own relations.Maybe atleast i feel it.. As long as i've been here, it IS a very good place to have our issues sorted out.And i am also loving this rank and star things and every rule and feature in myLot that it has become one of the most inseparable(right word?) part of my life.Loved your first paragraph,i want to read my LIT-Books once again for these wonderful english lines cherishing in my mind ever. Maybe,if all those happen,i would myLot again,with an icecream though (i always don't leave icecreams,for God's sake,nowhere!) Oh yeah,Good day-- the sids! (THUMBS UP)

Mylot always makes me happy esp when I see you're on it. I needed money and my student forgot her wallet the other day. She paid me for both tutoring sessions this time. So I go to the bookstore to buy books for tutoring her for her GED (a High School Diploma type test) and find out that the books will be the same amount as she paid me for two sessions. The Drs. want me to have vitamins. So I go to get some. Ones without garbage (coloring, silica-sand, etc) have to be ordered and will cost the same amount as the next tutoring session. So it's in one hand and out the toher. Ridiculous. But at least some money is coming in now. Hopefully things will get better for you, too my friend.

I am so glad that you can come here and take comfort ... even smile ... on such a bad day! There are times when I find that I am having a bad day, and I come here and feel better, especially when I can talk with wonderful friends. There are other times, however, when it seems that all I can find are discussions that do not interest me or irritate me ... perhaps because I am already grumpy, so I am viewing them in a more negative manner than I normally would. On these days, I find that it is just better to log off the computer and find things to occupy me and make me feel better and leave myLotting for another day when I am in a better mood.

Hey buddy,they say that when it rains,it pours! It somehow applied to you then,hehe! I had bad days,as in bad! My Crystal got sick and because she is sick,I have had sleepless nights in looking after her and so what I expected came true..I got sick too! And that time,hubby was gone for work abroad and my son is not around because of his work too. But there's always a good thing..good thing mom and dad was here. In your case,good thing you have mylot and friends. And I do agree with you that mylot can make us smile because of those good and sweet friends we have. I even stay longer here than in my fb,yay! I like mylot compare to other social sites, in here all the post and responses are informative. I enjoy reading the post and responses from my friends and I'm learning a lot from them, and also of course while enjoying myself I still could earn. :)

yes. one of my very best friends are here, i should say some. but i cant help it, there is one that pops in here now and then and also emails me when im down. she is always there for me and i met her hereanyway, you are right. sometimes it can cheer you up here. but i have on a few rare occasions gotten stressed out here.

that must be a very very bad day! Well i had my own share of bad days, as like the ones i posted last week..and yes thanks to mylot i was able to relieve it here..and thank you for people, people like YOU dear sids who listen to what i have in mind and also have patience to listen to my whining as well

That really is what matters when it all comes down for it. It is nice to see a quality community like this, with wonderful interaction is going to lift our spirits. There is no denying that there are just many days where life can really be something that is rather frustrating to deal with. In fact, it can be extremely frustrating. However the fact of the matter remains that at the end of the day, we have to have some kind of bright light at the end of the tunnel. Some element to really keep our sanity intact. Some element to really keep things from going completely off of the rails. Why not myLot? That is really just something where even if I just mere step on this website to lurk for a time, things do feel rather good. It is a distraction from the real world.

It is what I call a bad day! Things should have been worst : it seems that you will have to live without a debit card during 3 months, but can you imagine a life without myLot during 3 months? myLot is certainly the best place to rest after days like these. Enjoy your iced coffee.

I can completely relate to your feeling. My two younger sisters have been doing quarrels since March for something without value like Facebook games. It's painful to see that they are the same as I was, only that we had a different addiction. I went out and here I am in an internet cafe, trying to do stuff that I planned to do. And now I see this post in myLot and deep inside I feel that I totally agree with you. This is one of the websites I really wanted to share to other people but I prefer not to because I believe this site will come to those who seek.

My dearest lovely Sid, first of all let me give you a big hug ! I feel you my friend and i posted a discussion today that's somehow related to this. And i've said it there that mylot is an addiction that you don't want to be in a rehab at all. You are one of my treasured here on mylot and you are one person i would be missing the most if something bad happens to mylot.

Personally as most people know here, I come here when I can, and many times it feels like when life has been the worst, the Best thing for me to do is to come in here and post away on things and it usually gets my mind off that, and I am able to respond back and post in here about better things. In face, we can also consider mylot as our best friend. No matter how busy we are,time will come we will still go back to mylot to participate and look for our friends here. What mylot makes as true friend is that it is a legitimate site. It has many members. Mylot member may come and go anytime they want. This site also offer many opportunities that will make us better. Wow, what a day you had, but you are right, mylot will brighten your day no matter what happened. I don't come in here as much as I used to, but I still think about it, especially now, when I lost my beloved pet yesterday. Mylot will help me to forget what happened to her and go on, and maybe, eventually get another dog. I do enjoy coming into mylot when I have the chance, as I have fun while here, and that is what it is all about anyway. sids, I was out for a month but not gloomy. I was busy with concert events-two big concert, thu I am not the performer. Mylot was never out of my mind.
