Ok this isn't really about tv exactly. But you know I don't get to watch tv other than the news in the am before the sun is even blink'n up provided I'm up. Eitherway hubby's got the Wii remote and watching those crazy shows like Viva La Bam I think it's called? And now Wild Boys. Now if I was a teenager I'd be glued to the stupidity, but realistically I could care less. Every time I get up he's gotta pause netflix and tells me "Mama you gotta see this" I'm like what for? These kinda of shows and don't impress me anymore. I guess I"m turning into a fuddy duddy.
Any of those shows like the aforementioned and Jack_ _ _ type catch your interest anymore? Or are you like me and it's just a waste of time even watching as the shock value just isn't there like it used to be?

The thrill factor is gone. I've been trying to watch Dr Who on netflix but it seems like when the kids go to bed decently my netflix/wii remote is missing (go figure) so I don't get to watch anything. What is sherlock on? I like mysteries and BBC shows.

On netflix they've suggested Sherlock I think but it's only a few episodes. As usual I hardly get the tv unless I'm up really late or get up really early either way I'm left tired so I can watch something of interest to me.

I've never even heard of those things, thankfully. I'm with you, those types of things don't catch my interest. In fact they tend to tick me off because I can't stand how stupid some people can be. Thankfully my hubby isn't interested in that sort of stuff either, but if he were he'd never tell me I need to see it, because he knows how I feel about it.

We'll it's something I can kinda tolerate. Otherwise he likes horror films and junk like family guy which I can't fantom really watching anything that isn't kid friendly with a bunch of kids in the house ya know?!?1

I am like you. I can't say that I have ever really been interested in the Jacka_ _ _ or Viva La Bam stuff. I think that teens are just amazed and seeing the boundaries that people have. For me, I already know there are a lot of crazy people in the world

Yes there are plenty of crazies in the world. But on these show's it's not crazy it's really stupidity. Really who'd put themselves in that kind of danger unless there was a camera and someone waving $$$$?

I found it crazy fool interesting the first year or so those kind of shows were on. But now it seems foolish. Like the one he's constantly pranking his parents and destroying their house with craziness. Like turning their house into an ice skating rink, putting a fireman's pole in a bedroom thru the floor ect. All I can see watching it is... I'd love to have a house like that (pre demo) I'd be really ticked at anyone modifying or destroying it!

I don't like to watch tv shows. I used to watch Big brother years ago but now I wonder why. I watch only news and this is because I work in tv news, so this is my job, LOL! Sometimes I catch a good film, this is the only thing that I really like to watch.

Hi. I know exactly what you mean.
I have a 22 year old and sometime when he comes to visits, he asks if my husband watch this or that. Most of the time, the answer is NO.
Most of these shows, movies that my son watches are a wasta of time etc...just like you. Jask a$$ is the prime example. These types of movies etc we call: Jordan movies....and to us, it means 'idiotic'.
I, like you, have no use for these shows. What a waste of time. I hate them.
I still watch cartoons too since some of them are very funny- i just watch them when there's nothing else on tv.
