to fall for Obamas latest tacktics? If the gay marriage thing wasn't enough what about his latest? He is now making laws for the immigrants to stay in this country. Did you see that on the news? He could have done this along time ago. But no. He chooses to wait until its almost voting time. THis is SOOOOO obvious! And how many "cattle" are going to go vote for him because they think he is such a great guy? I hope people are smarter than that and see through this play on his part to gain votes. Anybody else see it or is it just me?

I am not very political but I will give my opinion even if no one likes it. I think the gay marriage and the immigrant law is timed just right for Obama. He wants to win in November! I am sure he is not the first president to do something like this to get relected! I still believe some of the problems Obama has faced and still is were Bushs problems that carried over to Obama's presidency. People also forget the president has to deal with the senate and congress. The president is not the only person running the US! I will vote for Obama in November. I am not a fan of Mitt Rowmney.

blue you are right in that the president isn't the only one running the country. Bush had a democratic congress when he was president from 2006 and he couldn't get any thing done. Obama had a democratic congress from the time he was elected until 2010 and he didn't do any t hing but put us into more debt and push Obama care onto us. Talk about a flip flopper.

Exactly!! And so true. Four years isn't very long to accomplish much. i will vote for neither because I won't help such as him get into office. I am patiently waiting for someone worth voting for.

Really! He could have done something for the immigrants and the gays long ago but instead he chooses to do it right now. Very suspicious in my book.

Usually the president gets enough of his own in to help him along the way. I think we need to do like they did on Escape from L.A. They get a president in office then leave him there for life. Get a good one in and give him time to actually do something. Four years isn't long enough. I don't think there is much hope regardless. Sad state of affairs.

As I understand, there's a political issue where non voting, non tax paying immigrants are doing work illegally within the US these past decades..and you find the idea of at last bringing them under the tax umbrella so as to pay their way within US Society when they're already there using health and other resources a bad thing? Why didn't [Insert ANY previous President or contender of your preference for Comparison Here] tackle this before now when it's a problem? Politically, wouldn't it be yet another potential voting Demographic to bring on board to keep the bandwagon rolling, and a means of tackling Budget deficits and the National Debt?

My apologies if I'm not getting the correct grasp of the immigrant issue you're referring to.. but What politician isn't trying to give themselves a bit more traction with voters? If you think this might have been a good idea a Year ago,why is it not a good idea now? Your issue is with Obama on this..like it or not,He's your President..I'm not arguing here that you should or should not vote for him,but for some,it could be a vote winner.

I never thought it was or is a good idea at any time. I find very deceptive and self serving for Obama to just all of a sudden decide(this immigrant issue, and the gay marriage for that matter, have been going on all during his time in office) he is changing his stance totally after not doing a thing until now when it is strategically good for him. What a bunch of hooey. Not a man I want in office again.

I am talking about the young ones in school who are making the US a home and have a right to a new beginning. And why insert ANY president? I am talking about Obama! And sure it would be a new political voting demographic to bring in. But why couldn't he have done it back a year or so ago when it really would have meant something and done something to make me want to vote for him? That's what I am asking. WHy now when it is so much to him advantage it being close to election time. Very convenient I'd say!

Problem is, the other guy isn't any better. What we really ought to do is all vote for 3rd party candidates. ANY third party. But willnever happen...

I agree. To be honest I haven't voted in years. I refuse to vote for someone I don't trust or want to see in office. Thirdparty like what was his name? Paul Paulsen. Remember him?

I'm going to try real hard not to offend anyone, but I read through this and couldn't believe my eyes. I don't vote but Obama is a bad bad president. I've always believed the old maxim, if you don't vote you have no right to complain, is how I heard it said. It is more than not liking his policies. He has trampled on the Constituion, Bill of Rights and ruled by executive order. And then turned around and blamed Congress, when in FACT, the House has put many many bills to balance the budget and cut spending on the table and Harry Reid, the Majority leader in the Senate has flat out refused to even discuss, let alone vote on. If you all sit there waiting for a perfect candidate that you agree with on all issues, Obama will be relected and that will be the end of our Constitution. Which btw, you should READ, study and do your utmost best to understand. Cause those who do NOTHING wind up ruled by tyrants.

Personally I see the ploy in order to try and get more Votes, but unless they are US citizens can they vote? I just really am hoping somehow he is not reelected as what Stupid thing will he come up with next, and if his Medical thing really comes to Law people like me with a lot of problems will really be in trouble more than I already am. Time for the real world to wake up and VOTE.

Personally, I hope there are enough people out there that are tired of his ways of doing things or morals etc on everything. I know I am not for him and will be voting appropriately because I have always believed if you do not excercise your right to vote then you have no right to complain when you disagree with something.

I definitely agree with the 'no right to complain when you disagree with something' BUT I won't just vote for the other guy either. Why climb out of one pool of ICK and fall right into another one. I would rather not vote at all!

Pat Paulsen was never a serious candidate for president. He was a comedian making fun of the real candidates. Are you possible thinking of Ross Perot. He was business man from Texas Who ran for president back in 1992. I don't think people are stupid but aren't really interested in what t he government is doing. I have seen interviews that show people don't even know who Holder or Biden is. I th9nlk a lot of it is that they are kept ignorant in school. Not being taught about how the country is governed. The main media is keeping them uninformed too. I do think the the idea of not punishing people brought her at young age should be punished. But I don't like the idea of Obama using executive order to get something done when not that long ago he said he couldn't do any thing. He uses the executive order to much.

Exactly! And if the candidates are a joke why not vote for jokster. Might as well. That was what I was getting at anyway. And I remember Ross Perot too. Someone needs to step up to the plate that has a head on and wants to do the RIGHT thing instead of play around with America. Get a clue people!!

The answer to your question is yes, people are that stupid. Already more Hispanics are trying to get other Hispanics to vote because of this one ploy. Obama has done nothing but show he doesn't care about this country or the people. Yet people are willing to overlook all of his screw ups because he does things like lie about his feelings on gays and give amnesty to illegals. For the people that think that Romney won.t be any better, give him a chance. Obama had his chance and he blew it big time. Do you really want 4 more years of his screw ups?

You're right. Obama does nothing to show he really cares. Only what is helpful to him. I didn't want Obama in for these past four years. WHy would I want him in for any more. I would rather see Ron Paul take a chance at it.

I hope people have learned from what he has already done to this country. I mean seriously, he needs to go! It blew my mind when so many people voted for him the first time. I did not like him AT all. I think my 3 year old could do a better job in office than this moron... I hope he is not voted for again. I swear he is trying to ruin this country, I honestly think he despises this country deep down. That is how it seems to me anyway.

Ya, seriously-- he sure does need to go! He is going to be voted back in unless more people(like college students for instance) wake up. Talk about a secret cell. I think he is one!
