Marriage at 23, Kid at 25, Divorce at 26.. And When did all that happen with me?

Hi friends and lotters A couple of days back the occultist client of mine visited me for some updates on his website. This time he spent some of his precious time studying my horoscope which he created from somewhere based on my time and date of birth. During the time I was updating his website, he was busy interpreting the horoscope. Let me tell you about this guy - he is a popular astrologer here and does prepare the daily forecasts for local newspapers, interpretations for leading celebrities and politicians here in the state. By the time I was done, he was done too and here is what was from him (summary only as I do understand the details would be quite useless) - He said - you were supposed to be Married at 23 have a kid at 25 and then a Divorce at 26 and... (wait there is more) as nothing of that happened, you interfered with Destiny and Fate. Today, you are ill and all your problems are because of this interference.... Do you believe that you can interfere with Fate and Destiny? Definitely, I do not. I do believe that whatever has to happen will happen at the right time which is set and there is no way you can change that. So if I did not marry - was wasnt destined to marry at that age. Everything else, is redundant to me. Your Take? Cheers, theSids.

Hello thesids, To sum up, this astrologer cannot be wrong ; if he is wrong it is your fault. I have read a study made by a statistician. This guy gave the same horoscope to 150 persons and asked them if they recognized themselves. 141 found that the horoscope was a lifelike portrait of them : it was the horoscope of one of the worst serial killers ever. I believe more in free will than in fate, and I think you can change your destiny. Well, it is something relative, as there are things that we cannot influence, like time.

I believe in free will, but I also believe that there will be things that happen that are out of our control ... call it fate or destiny or whatever you like ... and they will happen when they are supposed to happen regardless of whether or not you try to stop and/or alter them. Of course, perhaps it is pure luck or chance or whatever that these things happen and there is no "larger plan", but it seems that there are some things that are going to happen no matter what, and that does suggest a larger "plan".

Hi topffer I read a similar story somewhere on the Internet a few years ago. Unfortunately, there are many astrologers who do it only for sake of money and fool people around. Unlike the one I met in 1992 (mentioned on Ashish's box above). I still believe he was the best in the profession and he only asked for 2 bananas as his fee which he used for his food. as there are things that we cannot influence, like time.

Maybe this "larger plan" has been especially made for people like who don't like to plan anything, like me

geeta saar - Bhagavad Gita is the most unusual and the one of the most important scriptures. Its is the divine voice of the God. One can be spiritually benefited by mediating and contemplating on the Gita. One's all doubts are removed and by following it, one can attain Him. This Celestial Song was sung by Lord Krishna.
Sids, I know you are smart enough to given him your wrong birth details. Tell me you fooled him as so far as i know, you are practical person and can accept the life/challenges as and when it comes... Believe in your Karma and follow geeta (oh bhagawat geeta), your brain will get cool. check it out and take care dear friend. ps: how's the treatment going on for the stone problem?

Viju! WHy do you have to feel the need to clarify it is Bhagvad Gita? Our Sid is not going to follow any other Geetha.

Hi Viju I did give him my actual date of birth and time. I dont lie often and here I didnt see any need. I thought he might predict something right (like the one I mentioned on Ashish's box on page one). But yes, I know I am practical - if only astrology could cure, no one on the planet would have been ill and hey, no one would have spend so much money to become doctors. I do believe in doing my thing honestly and with flair. And I never worry or think what effects it has as I know I am not doing anything which is bad for the society. For the treatment - I am having an apple a day (literally), and have started homeopathy treatment on advice and prescriptions from out MyLot friend and Doctor - Dr. Viji.

hi sid Thought i don't visit astrologers but once i asked something to a pandit on online astro service, he said all my past which is correct but the present and future didn't have any clarifications. He also told something which are partly true regarding my husband's life. But yes, everytime every one wonders how our marriage happenned as they say it shouldn't have been happenned at all.... we are married for 15 years....... Pls take good care dear and i'm sure you'll be fine soon, thanks to Dr.Viji- hats off.

I think that you can interfere with your Fate and Destiny. How? By double thinking yourself too. A person needs to go with their gut feeling. For me it is hard to learn. I am forever double thinking and I am usually sorry. I am happy I am not getting into relationships anymore. Too many bad choices. Just not good at it at all. Hopefully you will learn by mistakes made and will do better.

Hi Celticeagle Well, they say that the path you select is also pre-defined. so are the options. Going by that thoery, I see everything is already pre-determined. This personally comes as an excuse to me but still there is some logic into this.

Good day sids You made me smile and upon reading your topic my mind went in a flash like... why not read it backwards... you got married at 32 and you will have kid by the time you are 52 and divorce at 62? at 62? Hmnn...I found men more sexy and gorgeous by that age...so does it means when you reached 62 you will be flirting around Sean Connery becomes the sexiest man alive when he turns 60

hi di Wait. This is serious. I got married at 32. As for kids... I have no idea when we will have them as you know my health conditions... and does that raise any worry or concern for divorce at 62? nah, I cannot think to be without my wife anytime - so that wont happen at 62. Sean Connery! Dont eye him... he is the best one can be at 60 too many applications for him already.... only if you can bribe me to put yours on top but that offer is closed until September

oh well... So I was right with the reading backwards... Can you tell him that I might be a good astrologer than him, seems my prediction is more accurate then his Disregard the divorce thing, as I have said... " I found men gorgeous by the time they reach 60, and you are not one of those men" Yes, you are not one of those men, because you will remain a kid longing for chocolates than sexy ladies out there

Whaaattt? By the way,at what age did you get married buddy? And hhhmm..is the word "divorce" applies to you even in the future? Na-a,I don't think so! I know you love your wifey that much and she also feels the same,so the question is...what was your reaction upon hearing it to your "relibale" astrologer, hehe! I remember one fortune teller told me before that I'll be having 3 kids and my first love is going to be my partner in life. Well, she is very much wrong, haha! And I'm glad she is wrong about my first love, hehe!

Hi mtr We got married when I was 32 and that raises some concern now (after reading jaiho (di)s response above). Well, after listening to his version, I only asked him if there was anything I could think to do so that the effect of that not getting married etc could be reversed or lessened.... He said I should wear some stone... and then I told him I am too poor for that thing on my body. However he has said he would give me something which would help.... I didnt ask when! And I'm glad she is wrong about my first love Astrologers

Hello sid- A renowned astrologer told me when I was sitting in a famous TV training institute owned by my friend before my marriage that my wife will murder me after 16 years of marriage. I am still in search of that so-called great guru of palmists to date; perhaps he is done by his wife. Another funny incident comes to my mind that when another astrologer predicted that I would be married soon and whole of my in-laws were in shock because she did not that I was sitting and asking in presence of my wife, that was after my marriage, two years later in a function there. So much for the great astrologers/palmists.

Hi praaji Most of the Astrologers of today are quite ignorant of the real calculations. We keep meeting such notmuch sensible astrologers almost everytime. But then there are some learned ones like the one I mention on Ashish's box on Page 1, wh not only predict the past but also the future with such great precision

I agree that some astrologers can predict that marriage , progeny or split can take place at certain periods of time based on the Dasabhukti. But I disagree that you interfered with fate and changed the course of action just because you did not get married at 23.I have heard people say that the time is favourable for a marriage during a particular year or two year period or so and then it may get postponed if it is not conducted at that point of time. But I also believe that whether it is conducted or gets postponed depends on the higher authority , the Almighty God and not on planets. I am in total agreement with your last sentence.

Dear Kalav I agree with you dear. I feel that everything we do or that happens, has been written off much earlier and there is no way we can alter that. Some say this is a belief of those who are followers of Fate and not Karma.

Hi Sids No, I don't believe it at all. That guy is a phony and his work is for entertainment value only. I once tried to chart my own horoscope. It is quite complicated and there is no way that it could be done in such a short period of time. As for the ones they put in the newspapers etc...entertainment only. In order to chart a person's horoscope, you need to know the exact time and place of their birth as well asas the exact latitude and longitude of the sun and moon on that day and at that time.

Dear sid Yup. he used his lappy for generating that Chart and the horoscope. But I think when it comes to interpreting those charts, it does take a personal skill and personal knowledge of things do play a major role. Most of these websites which help you create your charts nearly generate the same patterns and also give out some predictions (which are more general if you are a free user, if you are a paid user with them, you might get better predictions but again they arent personalized). This gentleman I talk about has now done predictions for me twice and I have found him wrong on both occasions And that baffles me - how does he still have the celebreties and politicians on his clients list

Hi ifa Nah, this time I havent asked God to help me out yet. I am relying on the Human form of God this time - on a doctor whose medication I am taking at the moment. And I Believe her medicines would cure me I could gain it at 35! Well I am older than that today, I am 37 already I am in love with my wife, and more contended with what I have. I do not ask for more for me (maybe times will change sometime later)

Hello thesids, Maybe your astrologist read from the wrong line. Either he read other man's destiny or he read your destiny from a previous life by mistake. I don't believe in astrologists. They are but impostors to me. Unfortunately it seems they make lots of money based on people's credulity. How could anybody believe an astrologist can tell about their destiny?

Hi inu I respect your views and do accept that most of the astrologers of today - specially the ones who cater to the celebs and politicos - are more like imposters and have wrong predictions. In indian scenario, astrologers have always been in existance and some of them have done quite well getting their calculations and predictions almost to a good precision.

sid, good to hear about the astrologer's words, i think none of them had happened in your life, i wonder how the astrologer tell this news to you. Hi vp Oh a new avatar and a newer version already! Well, yes, this astrologer is completely wrong whenever he predicts anything about me. Even the last time he was wrong and so was this time. However I do believe that it is all fate and destiny. We cannot alter anything anyhow, no matter how hard we try - our trying too is because we are destined to try.

I agree with you. If it's meant to be, it is meant to be. I personally believe that how beautiful are plans are they will not always end up as you planned. Because, God always has a better plan for us and you can plan your life but God can plan better. Life has no pattern either because life is a dynamic process and nothing is permanent but changes.

Hi godson I don't think we can interfere with fate and destiny. All I know is that everything happens for a reason, we cannot really see or predict the future. I might have believed someone if after some time their predictions became real I had a professor in college who read my palm - and there was one prediction of him that came through.

Hi there Sids, I have known people who believe in this one. But I don't. We are the ones who are making our own destiny...so it's all up to us if we end up that way. Though things may meant to happen like whatever we do, it would really happen...still, we can do something about it. I do believe in destiny but I do believe in faith and my myself that I can bring about change. Anyways, I don't want that kind of fate. It seems really terrible. I still would want a lifetime partner... Happy Mylotting!

Wow Sid, that is interesting. If I got such comments I wish to go beyond the age of 26 . At least it helps me to imagine more and more. For the question I am like cat on the wall to nod for 'Yes' and also for 'No'. To say 'Yes' is because of the recent incident happened in our family 5 months before. A worst accident killed 4 members of our family. In my aunt's horoscope it is said she wont live beyond certain age and that they saw when recently from an astrologer. But she crossed the age 4 years before. Now she is no more To say 'No' is from your story lol. In personal I believe there is something called fate and everything happens predetermined.
