I saw the The Dark Knight Rises, it is an awesome ending to the trilogy. No spoilers here, this movie is well made, another beauty from the director Christopher Nolan. I didn't find any flaw, I am just out of words to describe how satisfied I am by the way the movie ended, it's a must watch movie ....

After today's shooting, I'm not sure if the movie will be more or less popular. I've heard a lot of people saying they will stay away from this movie.

It's definitely a sad incident at Colorado, but I don't think the fans of the dark knight will stop watching this movie, that incident wouldn't stop me from watching. This incident will cause theatre owners to give more security so that incident like this never happen...

I agree, allyoftherain. Avoiding the movie altogether is just making unsupported conclusions. Plus, the more people create thoughts about paranoia around a certain subject, the more they are making it even more possible for the feared thing to happen. This is an isolated case.

Nice to see my opinion is shared. Really I think avoiding the movie would be a panic response, and a largely unfounded one. Schools across the country did not shut their doors after Columbine. Colleges did not close campus after Virginia Tech. This was an isolated incident, and while we are told there is some danger of a copycat crime, it's very low. Especially now that many theaters are hiring extra security and police to watch over movie-goers.

I dont think that . The Dark Knight Rises is the last one in the trilogy because it promises a sequesl na?... like the next will be Robin and no Batman?. But Ive read on Websites that Nolan told this would be the last installation of his batman series but still there is a good chance for another sequel with Robin coming to save Gotha. i Just simply love this batman series they were just marvellous. Nolan packed it with total suspense till the end. was just thrilling! :)

But the batman character does end here, it would be good to see a next movie with robin coming in to action. I did like the way how batman was portrayed in this series ...

I thought the movie was good, but not awesome. I was disappointed with the action or the lack of action in the movie. The pace was much too slower for my lacking. But of course, the movie did not leave any loose ends with Robin, Cat Woman and Bat Man all covered up and set up. Cheers! Ram

I preferred the Joker as the antagonist. Bane was just too ambitious for a villain. Also, I felt the movie dragged in some parts. True, the dragging plots of Nolan movies are sometimes a necessity but here I just felt that it dragged too long, like it didn't pay off as much as it should. It was too predictable for me. Anyway, it was a great end to a trilogy, I'll give you that. I can't wait for Christopher Nolan to go back to his original stories though. Memento, The Prestige, and Inception were all excellent movies.

The Prestige, Inception are better work of Christopher Nolan, but the comics made in to movies this batman trilogy is the best nothing else can match this ...

I just saw the movie last night and it is great. It is like a Batman movie with a sort of end of the world theme. It is exciting and there are no boring moments. I like the ending as well, it is very nice.

hello, I just watched the dark knight rises yesterday and I am still in total awe of that movie. It was a fantastic ending to the trilogy. Christopher Nolan has made a terrific and Epic movie. Its the perfect ending anyone could wish for. This movie has got everything what u wanted to see. Bane was terrifying and Bruce Wayne was awesome. He has outdone himself in this movie. Anne Hathaway was totally awesome. You just cannot take your eyes off her.Everyone played his part brilliantly. In my opinion the real hero of this movie is its sound effects. Hans Zimmer has given some heart pounding sound effects. Background scores were just perfect for every scene and kept us glued to the screen. Christopher Nolan has really made an outstanding movie.

I agree, this is the best Batman movie in Nolan's trilogy and compared to past Batman movies is also far superb. The thrilling opening as well as the shocking twist and action in the end, the overall quality of the story, good castings and the portrayal of their characters impresses even the critics. In just one sitting we see how Bruce Wayne and his alter persona Batman endured all pains and his wealth taken away from him by greedy and evil villains. How a sexy yet smooth criminal redeems herself which shows everybody can choose his or her own destiny, how an ordinary cop transforms into the relentless hero we know as Robin, how a lovely woman who everybody trusted is not what she really was, and the arch villain Bane may yet be just a pawn and not the mastermind against Gotham city. See it and you will believe. Oh and the Batcopter is one awesome ride!

The new vehicle was good, this batman trilogy makes the previous batman movies look lame. The Dark Knight Rises does make an awesome ending to the trilogy, I am going to watch it again pretty soon....

Glad to hear you enjoyed it (and equally as glad that you included no spoilers). I'm a fan of Christopher Nolan. I think he's an incredibly talented writer, director and producer. This current reboot of the Batman series and Gotham City 'verse has been so well done, it's amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing this. I will probably make a point to go see it this weekend. If you're a Nolan fan, an early movie he wrote that I really liked is called "Following". It's a relatively low budget and shorter film but it shows that even with those constraints, his talent shines.
