Today just as I'm trying to get up from bed...actually it's the couch, because it's a lot cooler in here than my own room! I am typing this from my new Iphone and it's soo awesome!! Have u ever been like this? Technology the days have improved soo much I think it allows some of us to be lazy, me included! I don't mind being like that but sometimes i think it's not a good thing. This is the first time I have a phone that I can actually enjoy with much pleasure! So which of u my mylotters have an iPhone or an iPad?! What can u do because I'm new to this whole iPhone stuff? Can anyone tell me what kinds of things I can do with my new gadget? As far as I know I can check my email and stuff with the wifi I have at home.. Can I also check it places that have wifi? Sorry for all questions but I will check out my lot again after 2pm. Have a great day becuz i know I wil!!!

Yes, like any Android phone and apple phones, you can use wifi with other places if the wifi is available. You could also use 3G or 4G if it's available with your service provider. I did open a topic a few months back when I got my iPhone 4S. The topic was how I used SIRI to type the whole discussion. It was great. I didn't type, I just talked and SIRI picked-up my words and typed for me. There was a little struggle for her to understand my words properly, but over time, she adjusted to my voice and could easily understand me now. Indeed technology has done a huge leap as compared to the first time we started using them. But, I think the best way to post in MyLot will always be through the keyboard. The typing just eases my stress and the words just flow through my fingertips as compared to speaking the words. In the activity with SIRI posting on MyLot, I realized that thoughts flow smoother when I type than I could talk. But all else, I think it is a good experience. Have a great Mylot experience. Enjoy your iPhone experience!

Yea I hear ya and sometimes I'm like u, I want to be in my home office but sometimes with my schedual being a little crazier than the norm, this iPhone comes in real handy as it fits my hands better than a computer lol! The only thing I don't like is the batterie time if I stay on my phone doing my lot and checking my email...then the life will be sucked out of the phone and I would have to charge it but as with the computer my fingers can fly just as fast and they dont get tired or anything

Indeed, the only downside I see in these great gadgets are the battery life. I guess we can't have everything! hehe..

I have an iPhone and I've done myLot on it before. I type it out though because I don't have Siri on mine - it's an older iPhone. But yes, you can use your iPhone on Wifi too. Have fun with your new toy and happy myLotting!!!

It would be better if mylot would develop an app for iphone and androids so we could easily post and respond to discussions. Because using the phone browser is quite hassle, unlike if we have some kind of a facebook like app.

Hummm that gives me an idea maybe I should ask mylot if they're thinking of doing that; adding an app for free....That would be soooo great

I'm not a cell phone guy, never liked having a cell phone, but I have an itouch, and that works just perfectly for me. It's really just like the iphone, only it has no phone, which means I have no contracts on it, but I can pick up the internet from anywhere that has wifi, and I can text message any cell phone, or take pictures, or play games, or use almost any app for the iphone. It's pretty awesome! One of the things that I really like on it, is I found a transit app for my city, and it tells me about every bus in the city, exactly where and when they go, and has every bus stop, so I can see exactly when the next bus will come, anywhere, or how to get anywhere, from anywhere, and it doesn't need the internet! Technology of today... not too shabby!

good luck with that. i hate typing on small screens because i make a lot of mistakes. i simply can't stand them and i just forget about using them all together. i still am pretty old fashioned i guess. i prefer computers rather than tablets and phones.

It's all good! I have small hands so I type as I do on a keyboard fast and accurately!

Well, I don't have an iPhone and I actually doubt that I ever will. However, I did get myself a new phone back in February and when I got that phone, I did add unlimited mobile web to my phone and since I've had that, I will access mylot a lot more often than I used to. Most of the time, I will do this when I am away from home and it is a great way to pass time when I'm not sitting at home and waiting on someone. For me, it isn't as comfortable as mylotting on my personal computer, but it is a great option to be able to have.

I have smartphone but never use for mylotting even the possibility is there may be because the inconvenience of using - I just prepared to use laptop or desktop. Also may be because my eyes is little bit hard to see the letter in typing my response if I use smartphone
