Some of u may remember my discussion on trying Nutella for the first time . The rerason it is gone is that this greedy little pig LOVED it & ate the 'whole thing'. I very seldom ever eat ice cream but i tried it with nutella on it & got hooked. HMMMM, wonder how many pounds i gained doing that. Last night i ate the last of it & will not being buying anymore for a long time[ i hope].Have any of u pigged out on something new lately??

Regretfully, I am in a pigging out marathon and it has to stop orvelsebinwill regain the 30 pounds that I have lost. I am terrible. I go to a very upmarket supermarket near where my sister lives each evening if possible at 6pm. Because at that time all pastries are discounted by at least 50 percent. I choose one pastry and eat in on a park bench before going back to my sister's house. I also avea packet of dark chocolate digestive biscuits hidden a a shelf that is to high for her to search. She insists on cooking dinner each night and as I am a guest in her house I naturally comply. The problem s that the food is usually so awful as she is a bit drunk whilst cooking it. hence, my secret stash of cookies as I cannot sleep if I am hungry. I have toadmitbto also being a stress eater and as you know my other sister has recently been diagnosed with cancers in her lung, brain and spine. I love her so much that it was enough to drive me to food! But, recognising my addiction, I plan to increase my exercise programme and give up on the delicious, delectable, creamy pastries. Blessings

Hi Sweet Friend, Bless your heart, i will be sooooooo glad when u can go home & i know u will be to . U are a better lady than i am to put up w/that sister like u have. When i had the aneurysm the boys wanted me to go to my mother's who also stayed drunk alot. I complied w/them to for awhile but after a couple of weeks of her I HAD to come home able or not. U better stay away from those pastries. I know u lost the 30 lbs. the hard way but know u are glad u lost it.I would be thrilled to lose that much but don't want to have to it like u did. love & hugs.

You know Antiquelady, I tried Nutella once and I didn't care for it. I don't remember if it was too sweet or that I expected a different flavor to it. I was going more for the hazelnuts in it but tasted nothing but chocolate. I'd love to try it again but heaven KNOWS I CAN'T!! Right now all I'd have to do is look at it and I'd gain weight, haha. Maybe in the future I'll try it again if someone can roll me to the supermarket. The only boring thing I've pigged out on lately is salad...wow. I need a life.

Yes, I pigged o ut on brownies last night. I had made them to take to the Sewin' Bee meeting on sturdy, but few were eaten. I brought them home. After church last night, I just had to have something sweet. Those leftover brownies called, loud and clear. I nearly made myself sick. What I didn't eat is going in the freezer.

I'm not fond of eating sweet things. So when there was a nutella in the house, i never touched it, it's just too sweet for me. I haven't been pigging out lately. I couldn't even remember the last time I did that. If I do, it would be seafood.

Thanks for responding. Lucky u for not liking sweets, wish i didn't. I can pig out on some seafood to, i love it but u don't get much good fresh seafood in Tennessee. If u do it's very expensive.

hi dear Antiquelady I feel with you as Nutella is sooooo good. Yes have pigged out when we were to my sis in laws bday party Aug 4th, as there was good old homecooking from the area where my maternal family comes from - Silesia - and I love that stuff so much. No new but good stuff. And as I love Turkish cookies I better leave the small roll of them where it is. Its the simple ones with sesame on them they are not overly sweet like Turkish cookies in general so its easy to eat more than I should as well. As a diabetic I shy away from overly sweet stuff now.

Pigging out. A wonderful pastime. Not my favorite pastime, but one I've been known to indulge in. Several months ago I discovered Talenti ice cream. Vanilla. My fave. When shopping a few weeks ago I spotted it on sale. It only comes in one pint containers. I bought 3. Last week I discovered them in the freezer behind some other stuff. I had forgotten all about them. Part way into the third container I decided that I might want to stop now. So yes, I too am guilty of pigging out lately. But I see that I'm in good company!

I use to have other favorite pastimes to.. I'm not famaliar w/that brand of ice cream. The only reason i usually keep ice cream is for the grandkids because i don't need it but that was before nutella, lol. U are in good company, thanks for that & for your response.

I did enjoy a fantastic hot fudge sundae this afternoon. That isn't anything new, but it is a rare treat. I usually don't go to the ice cream shop but, instead, have my pints of yummy ice cream at home (with proper feline supervision, of course). I remember buying Nutella a long time ago, and I just couldn't figure out the allure. I know some people absolutely love it, but it just did not work for me at that time. Who knows? Maybe if I tried it again now, I would love it.

Wow, Nutella on ice cream. I must say that is very decadent. I think Nutella is best served when you spread a bit of it on bread and make a sandwich. That way you at least get the benefit of the bread and don't really eat that much Nutella. It is even better when you use whole wheat bread, that way it's more healthy.

tHANKS FOR RESPONDING.i DON'T NEED THE BREAD ANYMORE THAN I NEED the ice cream, lol.I first tried it on toast & it was very good BUT THEN i put a dollop on some vanilla ice cream & it was delicious to me. I was hooked. I'm glad it's gone because i really don't need anything like that to start with.

Now you know it is going to be hard to walk by that stuff in the store when you see it. I heard that stuff is actually really good for you. Maybe it's not a bad thing that you pigged out on it. I haven't pigged out on anything new lately but I am going to make a note to watch out for that Nutella.

Well, I actually stopped drinking coffee a few months ago, COLD TURKEY. I had a bit of a headache for a few days. Anyway, I don't see why you kept eating Nutella. I like Nutella, but as a vice; I only eat it during breakfast or during a break.

I don´t ever buy chocolates as i´m addicted to them. Funny enough, I can accept ciggies around because I´m so aware that if I smoke one, I´ll be smoking 2 packs the next week. But chocolate is something else. So I eat the whole thing in minutes if someone gives me a box as a present, but NEVER buy any from my own money. I also have brainwashed myself that I can only go to a casino while on vacations in another country. I will NOT visit one in my country. If I did, I´d be a pauper in no time at all. I hate to be addictive, but that me
