Haven't been listening to music that much lately, but suddenly I'm humming to the song "Up, Up and Away". Don't know why or what the reason but suddenly it's implanted in my brain. Maybe because it's windy and my mind is thinking of balloons? I don't know, what do you mylotters think? Have you ever had a song implanted in your head and don't know why?

I do that all the time. Sometimes I'll get up in the morning with a song going on in my head. It's not too bad unless it's the same song over and over all day long or for days. Sometimes I get a song stuck in my head that I don't even like, though. I'm not sure why some songs come to mind, but I know that some have to do with what's been on my mind.

That's what I'm thinking too, that it has to do with what's on your mind on a subconscious level. Wonder if songs that pop up in your mind are related to your dreams, hmm?

That could be. Considering that I seldom remember my dreams, that could be why I don't know where the songs come from!

haha yes! Songs I haven't heard in years will pop into my head out of the blue. The theme song to green acres pops up alot and the song from beverly hillbillies and giligans island. I won't even know it, just start whistling then I have to rack my brain to remember what song it is! Our brains are funny things!

If it is something I have heard a lot the melody will stick in my head. I don't make the melody come in my mind, but for some reason my mind has recorded it and played it back to me. I think that's what happens. Our brain puts the song in a memory file, so to speak and it plays back so we hear it in our heads.

Yes, that happened all the time. All music that suddenly implanted in my head are usually bringing peace into my mind, unless when I got it when I sick. That feels very sucks..

Sometimes some songs used to stuck in my heart and I just used to sing or tune them while I do my works. Such songs or tune reduce my stress and helps to do my works or my duties quite faster, which would help me to fly like a free bird with no burden

Yes! I had this one tune stuck in my head all day. I just went along humming and humming but I had no idea what it was. I knew it was familiar enough to be humming it but had not a clue. I finally went up to someone I worked with and asked them "what the heck is this tune" It ended up being a jingle from a sitcom that was on years ago I'm ridiculous sometimes.

A few years ago all I done was listen to music, but now not very often do I have any on, as suffering from loads of head aches. Years ago I had a song that I could never get out of my head and it seems that now it do not even enter my head unless I hear it played while traveling.
