hi to all,
well, Today I'm starting kind of very sad discussion, maybe, this discussion is funny for you, actually, I'm kind of very simple person, I don't likes the wealth nor want to show peoples off I'm very rich or wealthy, but this thing makes my life terrible because now a days peoples don't see honesty. they only focus on persons Car,Home & Money, I'm so sorry But I'm not that type person, I want to live a happy life, I don't say, I don't need the above mention things, Yes, I need a car but "If the car is simple & normal & helps me to ride one place to another," that's all! I Know some of you guys laugh at me, but I really don't likes the BMW's & Mercedes Cars, also my thought is same about the big luxury home vs Normal & Simple home where we lives happy & fearless, but the reality is very different, when I say these thing to any person he simply laugh out loud on me, & move on, peoples saying me I'm just bored & looser person who don't wish to buy luxuries, Now mylot fellows, Atlast I Understand world is not my place because I'm kind of simple & normal person, what's your thoughts & views on this sad kind of discussion...??? have a nice day.

Not all people have the same "sentiment" as you do but there are few who would actually appreciate your view. I am one of those who also wants a simple life. It's not something we should be afraid or ashamed of when we tell people. Irregardless if they laugh or make fun of us, we are just contented the way we live. The important is that where we are and how we want to live makes us happy.
The people who desires to acquire wealth and properties and even more just could not simply find satisfaction. There's no problem acquiring these things but the desire to have more makes the difference between being materialistic and finding satisfaction. They are the ones who are attached to this world and this makes us different. We cannot please them for sure because they have views different from ours.
I don't think this is something sad because if youre a person who can find contentment in the simple things of life surely can find happiness in this world. Take everything away and it won't bother that much. Try to think that if those things were taken from them, it would bother them a lot.

What a lucky man you are. So many people who crave things, become so attached to that habit, when this happens things become the goal and then the ruler of their lives. Stay as you are, know that you are strong in your goals and the result will be that you attract others with similar goals. Blessings. I for one am in your corner.

I feel this world is of two types,one focus on material things and others who use them just for what they are meant for.I feel you belong to the second type who like simple things in life. I assure you that you are not alone, even I am like you, till date I have not made a house, nor I have bought a car. But I am quite happy.When my scooty does not start all my peon tell me to buy a car and sell the scooty, in return I tell them that I am going to buy a bicycle that will keep me healthy and will save me from increasing price of petrol. So chill and this world is for everyone.

You are going through what many, many people suffer when their values conflict with the world. You are hanging out with the wrong people, too. You are Muslim, right? Doesn't the Queran tell you to avoid people with attitudes like that? My Bible says that and admonishes me to stay with people who appreciate God and are not obsessed with material things. It tells me that although I live in the world I don't have to take part in its evil and greed. I find that my life is happier when I read and follow the advice of the Bible. I'm sure that if you study and live by your holy book you'll be happier, too, since they say pretty much the same thing but in different ways.

I feel that you are mixing with the wrong kind of friends, if you can, stay away from these people, many are happy with what they have, just realize what is your ability and how far you can go, you would not want to push yourself too hard, would you? So do things that you can handle, I am not saying you incapable, but in this modern world where we are born we have to get used to the trend, like having wealthy friends because if you don't and feel neglected and embarrased, there is no point living here on earth. Be bless because you have a life and good health. Many people are poorer than you.

I don't know why you would have the idea that you should live your life following what other people think? You knew that they were not right when they told you that you are a loser. YOU ARE NOT A LOSER because they said you are. You ARE a loser if you think you are. What matters is what you think. Stay positive and develop your self-confidence if you want to be the master of your own life.

You're doing the right thing by not buying luxury items. Your money will grow a lot faster if you don't spend it foolishly. Lots of times people will buy things they can't afford just to impress others and then they end up in too much debt.

I wouldn`t say that. THere are many people in the world who understand that there are a lot of things that are more important than money and that money is just a means of having some needs attended to, like basic food, shelter, education and health care. If you have that, you are rich. And if you are aware of it, you are very rich. That`s how I feel, at least.

having money and fame is luxury. but knowing how to live a life without it is more luxurious because you are not a slave to it.
for those who have the habit of being a slave to material things, they may feel happy but surely never content unlike those who live simply and down to earth, they have the peace that the popular people can not have.

I am the same sort of person I guess. It is nice to have money to buy fancy cars and homes but I don't think that is the most important thing. It is more important to me to have happiness and good relationships.

i think you are just being with the different kind of people.
some people has the same mentality as yours. as most in this world are materialistic and brand-conscious, there are still some who prefer the simple yet functional life.
i think you could do better if you find people who has the same ideas as yours. i'm not saying that you should avoid everyone else. but at least be with someone who has the same interest.

If you love all those luxurious things in the earth, you will be called greedy person. Better you are not among of them.
