My sister called in a pacnic she's at work, and her boyfriend just got charged with street racing, and his car was towed. He drives camero (sp?), and him and his brother were having *fun* while driving. Both drive similar cars, well he got nailed whereas his brother didnt. Here if you are 50km over the speed limit you are charged with street racing, now him having the car he does just makes him a target. He was charged (it can be up to $5,000 fine), 4 points off your licence, and the car towed / impounded. He is standing on the side of the road abdonded now. I sort of chuckled, my Dad went out and picked him up to bring him home.

I agree witb you kemak, some people just don't know what to do woth themselves...Why would a grown man do such silly act where as they ccould have very easily lost control of their vehicles and accidntly hit someone or worst killed some innocent person... Too bad and so sad....

I would laugh, too. Really, serves him right. It's good that your sister is only dating him and hasn't married and/or reproduced with him. Hopefully, if they do head in that direction, a few more of his brain cells will have started functioning by that time.

When I was 17 a guy I worked with and I were racing from one place to another an HE got pulled over for drag racing. He had the nicer car, so I guess that is why they stopped him. All he got was a ticket and sent on his way.

Right before I started to read this, I heard a car racing down the road. Atleast I assume that's what they are doing. I hear it quite a lot, a loud "Vroom" sound. He shouldn't be racing to begin with, but maybe this will teach him a lesson before it gets too out of hand. Whose to say this was his first time doing it? A lot of men treat their cars like it's their babies. A camaro owner I bet is no exception to the rule.

Here when you are caught diong that you actually go to jail and get your car impounded as well. not to much fun and glad i never got caught doing it as i did it alot when in high school when i drove a mustang. I loved it and loved every minute of going gast and racing a guy. Now also my brother was arrested for this and had his lowered truck not impounded as he was not 18 at the time and my parents went and picked up the truck and he was lucky at the time. So it was a mess but i will tell you no fun here at all.

Thats kinda funny- not. It could have been you or I. Or do you think was racing?? If he was. He deserves it. What do you think? Was he racing?

hi ricki wow how old is her boyfriend to do something so childish like a teen ager does he not know its illegal and dangerous too accidents have been caused by that.It was kind of your dad to bring him homee and resuce him like that. hope he learned a valuable lesson now and will not do this again or maybe your sister should find herself a more reliable boy friend.

There is always a lesson to be learned in situations like this. And that is the good part of it. Hopefully, they won't be doing that again, that is, violating road rules.

Yes, there is always a lesson to be learned, but whether they learnt from it. They just chuckled at it afterwards.

Sorry to hear this, that is terrible. I hope he learns to drive slower next time, it's not worth the fine and impounding of the car. How old is her boyfriend? Good for your dad to bring him home, that was good of him to do.
