Hi my fellow myloters! I'm just wondering, I check my yahoomail and got a notice that I got a response from those discussion I have commented. So I check it out but to my curiosity, It seems that I cannot find the comment I put in those discussions. I just notice one thing, all of those gone response I put are all those discussion with 10 response from different users. Is a discussion limited to a 10 user respond or my post got deleted??? Thanks! :)

There is no limit to the number of responses a discussion may have. Your posts were deleted either because they, themselves, violated the Guidelines or because the discussions did and were deleted. Your Notifications from MyLot will tell you why posts were deleted. The remedy is to read the Guidelines and to make sure that not only do you follow them but that the discussions you respond to do.

But I did not get any notification saying my post got deleted for violating a rules. If I remember it right it says someone responded on your post, something like that. So I'm quite sure that I did not violate any rules. _

hi neil_tokitz, actually there are discussions with no response which is already many years ago. so, i strongly believe that the discussion you mentioned got deleted because of violation on mylot terms and conditions.

i am sorry to say that certain discussions will be deleted from time to time after members reported it for violation. and yes, you may not post anything which violate the rules, but the discussion itself already is a violation, so when the discussion were deleted, all the responses under the discussion will be deleted as well.

So it means my post got deleted too even thou I did not violate the rule? Will my earnings be deducted by that?? Hope it will not. _

As some members have already mentioned, there is no response limit. In fact, it is beneficial for Mylot if a discussion receives a lot of responses because this would constitute more activity taking place here. As for the discussion being deleted, I rather doubt this because Mylot would send notification to you that the response was deleted along with the discussion. It is more likely that you are simply finding it hard to locate the discussion, which can rapidly move down the pages as other discussions move to the top. I suggest that you check the responded tab under the discussions section, which may make the discussion easier to find.

As a point of curiosity, can you remember the title of the discussion that you responded to?

This is a very useful piece of information mysdianait, I was not aware that the response would remain after the discussion was deleted.

You might be right, maybe I should really just check those guidelines again. Maybe I didn't notice that notification for deleting my post and thought it was same as other notification by my excitement to look at the response. Anyway thanks friend! :)

No limitation on discussions or responses you can respond 100 respond on single day or 1000 respond. But if discussion is break the rule then may be deleted or response also deleted if discussion is deleted.

So if the discussion violate a rule all of the comment will be deleted too? Does that mean my earnings will be deducted too? And the number of my participation too??

I am now very selective to posts that I am going to respond basically because a few of the posts that I have responded were deleted. It was just a waste of time, so I read very carefully now if the post is some kind of a poll, like if the post about number or what's in .. something like that. I don't respond also to those posts which I think with mature content so I will not waste my effort of answering. The more response the better neil. so really it's the content that matters. thanks, too.

awwww... too many of too many LOL, now even the repeated discussions should be look into. Yes be careful of your comment they are monitored and you are marked LOL, just kidding you. well ok fine, delete if it 's a mistake sorry.

Yes you're right, I should refrain from answering mature things too (which I did a while ago). You should also watch out for repeated discussion, I just got from that kind of thing which resulted to a deletion of discussion which only means my comment too. Anyway thanks for the advice Mavic! :)

Did you check the bottom of the page to see if there were pages added to the discussion. When more than 10 comments are made they make a new page, page 2 and so on... Discussion do get deleted if they do not adhere to Mylots rules and guidelines.

Come to think about it maybe there's a 2nd page. Maybe I wasn't able to notice the [2] button for second page as I use the CTRL F to find my name. haha, I better check it again. :D

No, there is no limitation about how much post you could made, or comments and responds on your post. Seem that, those respond already deleted by the admin cause break the guidelines.

No, unlike other forums that have discussion limits, Mylot does not have such. You can respond to hundreds a day and make more money in return. Posts get deleted because of certain violations.

Hello Neil, No there is no response limits on the discussions. There can be millions of responses on a particular discussion. As far as deletion of the comment or response it happens if it violates guidelines of Mylot or the discussion under which they are violates the guidelines so it would be better if you read the guidelines regularly and understand what is written in it thoroughly.

Thanks sjvg1976 for your advice. Now I will really put time in reading those guidelines. Don't want my post to be deleted again. Thanks! :)

There is no limit to responses. Try looking at the bottom of the responses, there may be other pages which you haven't noticed. At the bottom there are numbers as to number of responses.

Hello, this may be a late response to this discussion since majority of the previous answers were right. Well anyways, i like to give my share also. :D , There is no limit response for a posted discussion. However, some discussions and replies are deleted because of the admin's evaluation of your replied and post content. A reply or post can be deleted by an admin if it did not abide to the guidelines of the site. (you might want to review the FAQ page and Guideline page in order that this won't happen again). Some post or replied discussion can also be deleted due to a reported violation, wherein a myLot user can report you if you had violated some terms of the myLot system. another is duplicated content, An admin or a user can also report you for duplication of content/posts leading to the deletion of your posted or replied content. Although we are free to discuss any topics that meets our interests here in this site, it is also important to read again it's terms and rules so, that we can have a good workload in here. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your very informative advice. Since you mention that deletion of post, I'm just wondering. How about if I post to a discussion then later on decided to delete it or edit it. Would I be able to do that??

I don't think so because there are some of my post where I have received less then 10 responses but they are still their and not only this even responses to other members I have given specially pertaining on my post still exist. Thre were some cases where my post were rather same as other members have been deleted but Mylot had send me the notification in this regards.

Maybe it was really deleted, maybe I violate a rules without me noticing it. And I should really check the notification on my mail, sad I already delete them as they will only increase the number of my inbox. I should really be careful next time. Thanks for your reply! :)
