Got my check today!

I am so surprised how fast that came!
So, as I mentioned, on Monday I had a one-time gig working the registration desk at a career fair. I found the job through Craigslist. It turned out to be a really nice night. I had people to talk to, we got to eat the buffet style food they were serving at the career fair, and.. best part is, I got paid to do it!
Like I said, my check showed up today. I was very excited that it came so fast.
Were you ever surprised at how fast something came that you were expecting, like a check or package?

Good for you! Just in time to do some Christmas shopping. I order envelopes for my cards from this small company and the first time I ordered them I ordered in the morning and the next day they were delivered! The best part about it is that I know if I need envelopes right away they are there for me. And they are reasonable!

I love it when money comes unexpectedly or quicker than expected! I am glad you had a good time and that you enjoyed it as well as earning some extra money!
The best thing I have ever had was a tax refund that came through when I didn't know it was coming! :)

I've never had that because I always know what my tax refund will be and when I should get it.
I'm usually surprised by child support payments. They don't come as often as they should, and never at regular intervals, so I'm always surprised when I get one.. but they're usually small, like $30 or something.

That is always a great feeling when you are expecting something to come over the weekend or start of the next and boom it is waiting for you at home. My Amazon packages came today and some awesome dishes coming tomorrow so I am psyched. I love this time of the year as online stores have great deals. You got anymore gigs coming up?

Lucky, it is! Nowadays, knowing how difficult it is to earn, getting a check that easy is something to be grateful for. So, enjoy that blessing and pray for more to come...

That is great that you got your check already. Sounds like you had a pretty good time and made some money while you were at it. I am sure the money will come in handy for a bill or maybe a few Christmas presents. My part time job right now is not enough to pay all my bills, so I am glad I have my toffee gig to help bridge the gap a little bit. More money is always good!
