Every year at Christmas my Mom makes this tuna ball. Her aunt or someone gave it to her, it's suppose to be a healthy alternative. It's a ball of cream cheese and tuna, you can add your own seasoning such as dill or whatever. Most year she rolls the outside in nuts, but year she didnt. You spread it on the crackers and your done. There is over half a ball left, and Ive been snacking away on it.

Not so sure about that... maybe it would taste good but couldn't say for sure.. We had a cheese ball, cream cheese, pecans, crushed pineapple (drained), green peppers, onions. It is delicious, I've been eating on it.

Yeah it definitely has this kind of "Tuna.. Cheeseball?" sound to it, but if it's good it's good. Plenty of other things that don't smell or look too appetizing but I'd eat up in a heartbeat.

I think we all have that, odd thing we eat. I think once people get past what it is, and try it. I use light white tuna, so it's not very fishy though.

I am not much of a fish person, so I normally would try it. But it's always made at Christmas. Everyone who tries it says how good it is, some make face before then try it then eat the entire things.

I'm not certain why anyone would find that odd. Really, a bagel with lox and cream cheese is fantastic (Ooh... and I am making myself hungry again now. If I keep this up, I will have to go have another snack.). So, it stands to reason that a tuna and cream cheese ball would be decent.

I'm a fan of bagels with lox and cream cheese, so I would be game to try a tuna ball.

I guess it's a personal taste, on whether we like it. I know many who make faces until they try it.

That sound good, actually. I have some tuna and some cream cheese. I might try it later in the week. How long does it last (I mean, if it isn't eaten!)

A couple days, before it starts getting gross looking (runny and such). I already ate half the ball today.

I have never thought of using tuna in a cheese ball before. Interesting. I love cheese balls made with dried beef and I have even tried one with ham. I do love cream cheese and I like tuna. Not sure about this one though.

It's really good, highly recommend it (at least try it once). I would assume you could use flavoured cream cheese as well, or different types of tuna. I just used plain cream cheese, and light white tuna.

You can buy them? I make it from scratch. They are a good appetizer, but you need to have the right cream cheese to tuna ratio.

I dont eat meat so this is not something that I would be able to try but something that I could make for others to try at family get togethers. It sounds interesting. My kids dont like tuna. I dont think it would taste to good with nuts though.
