2013 started well

The only time I want to see snow is on Christmas Day, sadly we didn't get a White Christmas, and I hope we are not in for a freezing January. Today was my first day back in the gym for the New Year and as expected, like all other years, the gym was packed! Come February it will have emptied out again, new years resolutions for most I guess.

There is really nothing that I love more than having the opportunity to see the sun during the winter. The reason that it feels so important for me to have the chance to see the sun during the winter is because of the fact that the days are so very young during the winter time. Us, we've had a few light snows during the course of the last couple of weeks and that has been nice. However, the thing that I think has been nicer is that we've had a fair amount of sun as well.

Hi savypat, That is what happened with us on Christmas Eve. Rain and mild temperatures had taken away all the snow but on Christmas morning we awoke to a light dusting of snow and a white Christmas. It didn't last long however and we had rain for New Year's Eve. The sun was shinning for awhile this afternoon however, and I went for a short walk. I ALWAYS feel better when the sun is shinning and the sky is blue. Blessings.

Hello Savypat I do love shiny days. But what I love more is to feel the tender sun heating my cheaks, my arms. It makes me feel comfortable happy. This New Year Eve it was a rainy one, thanks God. We need rain in our town. Blessings Savypat happy 2013.. Dainy[u][/u]

So far we have been lucky and have not gotten snow. I know it is still early in the winter yet. There was snow north and west of us. I hope this stays this way all winter. We are actually having some mild days here. I like it that way better then all that snow.
