Found after almost 2 decades....... wow....

More children are found, which is good news. Although not in all cases the child is happy. Especially not if it takes long. 16 years (in this case) is a long time, this boy is not a boy anymore but an adult. He grew up without parents, under different circumstances, how close can one be after that time? After so much has happened? I hope they will find a way together.

I saw this on the news yesterday. His grandparents (assuming it was paternal grandparents) abducted him. This is such wonderful news. I just don't know what makes people think they have a right to their grandchild like that, especially when one of the parents is living and able to take care of the child. This is very good news for the boy (his name was changed) and his Mom. I wonder what is going to happen to the grandparents. Apparently they found him by his social security number.

I agree with you, such news is what I like to read and hear rather than killing and destruction. Wish to read more happy ending stories

Wow. That is good news. Another positive energy. It was very inspiring rather than we heard stories about killings. There are lots of stories that have negative to a society.

That is such wonderful news. I am happy for his mother and of course him. The grandparents could be in some serious trouble if they prove that they did this.

Wow, that poor family. Thats a long time to have no answers about what happened to your child. Wonder what the grandparents had to do with it. Its nice to see a happy reunion on the news. So much of the news these days seems to be about killing, robberies and natural disasters. Hope the family can begin healing now.

I think it is wonderful and terrible at the same time. I wonder what the man (no more a boy) is now. These stories can end well in a book or movie, but they are much difficult in real life. I hope all ends well.

That's good news but it would be nice to have the rest of the story, like what happened two decades ago, why did that boy get lost and how did they find him after two decades? Interesting.

That is really one, great news! Just imagine when you have almost given up on finding your lost child, you'll suddenly be told that he has been found????? I am sure his mother could not explain how she felt about it!

This is terrible. I could just imagine, as a parent ho the mother had felt and the sufferings all those years.

Well I share the same feeling with you,all the news for our world full of wars and deaths and killings,so our society really need more positive news to enhance the belief for your society.

That is very good news. The abducted children are still alive and growing adult. If he was kidnapped in year 1994 and his age in that time 5 years old that means he was same age with me now. Who kidnapped him? Do kidnapper get caught?

It must be a wonderful feeling to discover one's child after such a long time, especially since the mother had no way of knowing if her son was still alive. The main concern now is that they will not know each other, plus the fact that those years of growing up cannot be replaced. It will probably be quite some time before they really get to know each other properly and even then a degree of family bond will still be absent.

hi mariaperalta what good news now hes a lmost grown but sill I can imagine how excited the mom must be. Its wonderful to get good news once in a while. There are bulletin boards in some of our stores ere in the US with pictures of children missing and I often wonder if anyof them have been fo und.I know of one child missing for several months who got away from his captors , found a phone booth and called long distance to his mom.She w as thrilled and sent police to that location to get the boy before his captors could find hm. I read that the police got there just as the captors had found the boy and were going to hurt him.It seems they brought the mom along too so she at once recognized her own son. Tn s ot those captors were his own Aunt and Uncle who were at odds with his mom.

Hiya MP., Such good news for a change. Hardly any of the children that go missing here are found again ever. If they do turn up and I wish that they would maybe they could mention it on the news and make a big report on what happened would make a change than the usual round of stock exchange lessons they seem to want to give us every day of the week. Again very happy for them I hope that they can live together again I imagine it will not be that easy after such a long time.xxx

Now that is an amazing story. I like hearing good news as well. But all those years. Wow. It is amazing. I could only imagine how the child felt then and how he feels now as a man. It had to be mind blowing for him.
