I looked over this recipe they are peanut butter oreo bwonie cups. I didn't have brownie mix, and forgot when I was shopping. My parents had a chocolate cake mix, so I am going to try to use it instead. I think it may just to be lighter, and a slight different taste. These are so simple to make, and something good for a gathering.

Let us know how they turn out. I'd be interested in making them when I get a mix.

I used the cake mix, and honestly perfered it. Brownies tend to be sweeter, and heavier, the did flake off more which made a mess, but I liked the taste better.

They sound good to me. When using the cake mix if you add one less egg then it will have a more dense texture and be more like brownies I think. I have a cake mix, oreos, and peanut butter.... I might have to try something like that.

I thought it was delicious, very sweet though. I didn't think it was that bad with the cake mix.

A brownie mix? You dont make them from scratch? Even from scratch brownies are simple to make. How did they turn out with the cake mix?

I didn't have any cocoa to make them from scratch. I only had so much things to use, and I was given a cake mix. It was nice a fluffy, but it fell apart, I think the brownies would not fall apart when you pick them up.

The consistency would be quite a bit different using cake mix rather than brownie mix. Homemade brownies are easy to make, though; there is no need for brownie mix, even if one isn't much for baking.

I don't have the ingredients to make homemade brownies.
