Owls always has the best helps for this kind of thing, but in short, read stuff and respond. the whole allure of here is more about talking to others than talking yourself. Oh I dont mean never start discussions, I start a couple a day, but to find things and comment! and then wait to get comments back. that help feature on the left is nice, also the me-- notifications, those are people talking back to things you have said, so be sure and tend that one

When you interact with other users regularly, there is likelihood that you may become friends with them. You could start a new post or you could respond to posts started by others. Welcome to MyLot! I love this place. I would say there are a lot of different, awesome discussions going on at any given time - use the "search" tab to search by keywords - work, life, school - whatever you want to talk about, there's probably a discussion out there for it. If not, start your own. It takes some time to get into the groove but I find this place to be entertaining, a way to pass the time, and a way to earn a little bit of money doing so. I only joined recently and have been interacting with quite a wonderful people here. I have yet to come upon someone rude or anyone off putting.
We all interact state our points debate and still remain cordial. Its all done in good spirit.
