What Kind of book would you read?

I'm working on writing a book to self-publish on Amazon, and plan to publish it on my birthday as a present to myself. I am a bit worried if people will like it though, as my writing style is unconventional at best. I break the 4th wall a lot too, I worry people won't like it. Though I don't know why, because Deadpool is popular. Am I being paranoid (I ask because I do that)

I think it is great you are publishing your own book. That is a goal of mine as well. I have written a couple of ebooks but they were ghost written for someone else.

You don't know it, but I'm pretty sure there are people who would like your style of writing, however unconventional it may be. Good luck with your book, let us know when you already had it published.

eh, you never know what people read or don't, and yes Deadpool is very popular. you could always offer it on sales, or give out a few free ones with requests for reviews.

I always think that if I like my own writing, someone, somewhere, will also like it. At the same time, I try hard to make it accessible to people who don't think quite the way I do.

I'm pretty sure that you'll get at least some readers for your book if you publish it. Anyway, if it's your first time, then don't be afraid to write. Someone out there would really like your book. And I wonder, what kind of genre are you going to write? I like horror a lot. Others love romance.

I am writing a non-fiction book, it's somewhat about politics, but mainly focuses with modern day problems facing the world.
