Kids Event Goodie Bags

United States
March 14, 2016 6:35pm CST
All the children and the adults went home with Goodie Bags. My Goodie bag had some candy, specialty tea bags, and everyone got a pencil with "Bye Bye Binkie party 2016" imprinted on it. There was lots of food to eat and some delicious punch and the FINALE was priceless! The daddy tied the child's last Binkie to a rocket and shot it "to the moon" supposedly. We had to go out in the back yard for that. We watched it go out of site.

What was this event about. Seems it was fun. What is this Binkie you are referring to? Talking of goodie bags you took me to the party I had for poor kids at Christmas time. It was fun packing them. They were given to all the guests including adults. Kids got their separate gifts from Santa as well. The goodies were packed in polka dotted bags as the theme of the party was polka dots.

A Binkie is a pacifier. She always had one in her mouth. So after she passed her fourth birthday, her mom and dad decided that it was time she gave it up. They made a big deal out of it and made a fun party. Did you read the part where the dad tied the Binkie to the rocket? Nice of you to make goodie bags for the kids and adults. They look so pretty. I'm sure they were appreciated by all. "There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving." Jesus said.

@allknowing Binkies are very popular here in the USA. I actually think that it is a BRAND name for pacifiers.

And how is the child getting on now without his/her binkie? :)

I heard that she had a very restless night. Along with both parents who were up half the night with her. But, hopefully it will get better. Uh oh I hear thunder.

Love the idea of adult goodie bags. I'll have to keep that one in mind for the next family get together we have. Can't wait for warmer weather to get here so we can have our gatherings.

Yes, the mom and dad of the little girl went all out to make goodie bags for everyone. The kids had a real fun day and I got to see a few people I hadn't seen for awhile.

It's a pacifier. The mom and dad of the little girl went all out to make the party fun. I was invited because my grandson was invited and his parents had other obligations. They were out to dinner with my daughter-in-law's parents for their 50th wedding anniversary.

Sounds like it was a nice event! I make goodie bags for my little son's class - it's a joy to make goodie bags they will all enjoy.
