Traveling in a week

I didn't realize that it was coming up so soon until I heard my husband talking to someone else about it today at the party. In one week at this time I will be sitting in Asheville, North Carolina. My husband and I are traveling there to visit his parents for four days. It will be nice to see them. It has been several months. Our good friend stays at the house when we are away which is wonderful. It takes a load off of my mind knowing that someone is here with the animals. One of the cats has major separation anxiety so he really needs to have human contact every day or he gets crazy for real. I guess I'd better get on top of my laundry game and start getting my bag ready to pack. I'm heading out on a jet plane next weekend!

Asheville is such a beautiful place! I haven't been there in over ten years. I have family that live in and around Asheville!

@ScribbledAdNauseum I actually feel sort of claustrophobic being in the mountains and so far away from the ocean. haha I guess the sand and ocean is all I know.

@NJChicaa We need to find someone to look after Herc (pet sheep) when we go away next. I think the neighbour will do it for us.

It sounds like fun Asheville is a fun town. Go to the Biltmore if you get a chance. I am planning on going away in August, and it will be great to get away. I have the same animal issue though. I can't spend too much time away from my cat or he goes bonkers. My roomate will babysit both pets...but he doesn't give them alot of attention.

The Biltmore is very expensive and my husband has ZERO interest in going so I doubt I'll get to go.
