eCards or Traditional Greeting Cards -- Which is Your Preference?

October 17, 2016 11:02pm CST
Do you prefer to go out and buy your greeting cards, at your local retail store? Or -- Is it your preference to explore online greeting cards, or to design them yourself, with cool greeting card creating apps? Do you prefer eCard giving, over sending out traditional greeting cards by postal mail? Or -- Do you think that things may be a bit simpler, sending the cards in the old-school way? Do you recall the last time that you sent out a greeting card? And... was it an online thing, or an old-school way? Also -- These apps look fun, for Android and iOS:
Graduation, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthdays and holidays; you'll need a card for a variety of occasions. Personalize it by using the greeting card app that's right for you.

I can't think of when I ever sent 'just a greeting card'---maybe I 'signed' one (with a bunch of other friends) on a birthday. I remember I bought one once to include with a Christmas-present I was giving. So my preference is an eCard, if you're sending the greeting by itself; a greeting-card if the greeting is with-a-gift.

I design my own Christmas cards on the computer, which I print onto special pre folded card. I have never even considered the idea of an eCard. In reality, an eCard is a great idea and time saving, but somehow the ease of this seems to devalue the concept in my opinion.
