Snuggled Today

We had snow flurries today! I couldn't believe it, nor could Doodles the cat. He cried and ran to the door to return indoors. Fortunately, it turned to rain, but Doodles cried when he insisted on going out and got wet. Again, he wanted in!
So we turned on the gas fireplace. I curled up on the couch next to my husband. He can still snuggle, thank goodness. Doodles snuggled in his bucket, nearby.
Eventually, I went to our bedroom, turned on the fireplace, wrapped up in a soft throw, and read for a few hours.
I love days like these, and being retired allows for them. Yahoo!
It will be sunny and beautiful on Halloween for our trick or treaters.
The photo is of my older son taking a snooze with our precious grandson and one of his two pupsters, our protective grand doggies.

We had flurries too. It was supposed to turn to rain, but hasn't done so. The ground has a light white cover now. It was peaceful to watch the snow travel gracefully to the ground. Now I will be happy to see it go!

Oh gosh, we are just barely getting any showers - barely! Enjoy those snuggle days - we only get them Sundays

Handsome son, gorgeous dog. Can't really see your grandson very well, but they do look totally comfortable. Sorry you had snowflakes. We haven't had any yet

One of the best parts of being retired is that you can change your plans when the weather doesn't cooperate. Working people often cannot. Cute photo of your son and grandson.

@DianneN Yes. Our country should be set up so that a portion of everyone's income goes into their own personal retirement fund. No one should have to retire without a pension.

It was cold here but no snow. My sister and niece sent pictures of being covered in snow in upstate NY.
